  1. AdrianInFlorida says:

And then, next up, Judge Carter will be smeared as “A disgrace to the Marines” for tossing Saint Orly out of his court, as well.

    It’s really quite predictable.

  2. kimba says:

Judge Simandle is a Princeton man. Michelle Obama went to Princeton (*hmmmm, hmmmmm hum the birthers* Ever notice how they always put ‘hmmmmm’ in their posts to suggest there’s some funny business?) I like how they point out he earned his JD in one year, one year ( hmmm, hmmmm (?) highly questionable hum the birthers) Socialist ( hmmm, hmmmm) Nader ( hmmm) Is the post and email their go-to publication now instead of WND?

  3. ballantine says:

Wait, you mean a district judge in new jersey is not going to order congress to hold hearings on Obama’s eligibility? Gee, I thought that was pretty likely.

  4. kimba says:

Mario’s gonna get his undies in a bunch when he sees your title Doc.

  5. Bob says:

The Post & Email needs to do a better job at smear and innuendo.

Judge Simandle clerked for a Princeton educated judge before working for Carter’s Department of Justice before being appointed a magistrate and then a district judge after receiving a favorable report from then-Senator Biden. As a judge, Simandle has accepted money from the Federal Judges Association, allegedly to cover food, lodging, and transportation costs. Yaaaaawn.

That is pretty standard for a person selected to a federal judgeship. The attempts to smear Simandle as a liberal due some of his activities at college (ohmygod! Simandle was a student activist at an elite institution during the Vietnam War! Shocking!) is hilarious.

The Post & Email gives the same treatment to Judge Land, where it ominously notes that financial disclosure “reports filed for the years 2003-7 list investments in many of the largest companies backing Barack Obama, such as Microsoft and Comcast. “ (Their bolding.)

Note to Email & Post: Prior to being a judge, Land was a partner in his own firm; he was good at what he did, and made money. Successful people often do craaaaaazzzy things like investing their money in big corporations. To suggest Judge Land ruled for Obama because he feared Obama’s downfall who cause personal financial distress is charmingly naive.

  6. Rickey says:

Speaking of dismissals, the government has filed its reply memorandum to Orly’s opposition to the motion to dismiss which was filed by the defendants. I had not realized that Keyes wasn’t on the ballot in enough states to win the electoral vote even if he had carried every state where he was on the ballot.

    http://www.scribd.com/doc/20232795/KEYES-v-OBAMA-72-REPLY-MEMORANDUM-TO-OPPOSITION-TO-DEFENDANTS-MOTION-TO-DISMISS-FILED-BY-ALL-PALINTIFFS-EXCEPT-DRAKE-AND-ROBINSON-filed-by-Defend

  7. Bob says:

I like how they point out he earned his JD in one year

Simandle completed his undergraduate degree in 1971, received his Diploma in Social Sciences in 1975, and his law degree in 1976.

If any birther had attended an institution of higher learning, they might be aware of this concept of dual (or joint) degrees. It didn’t take Simandle four years to earn a degree that is normally earned in one year and then one year to earn a degree that takes three years. Rather, it took him five years to complete two degrees. (From the timeline, one can infer Simandle started law school, got his degree in Sweden, and then finished law school.)

The Post & Email is, of course, the source of the nonstory about New Hampshire’s noninvestigation in election fraud.

  8. Heavy says:

The ONLY thing that is predictable is a liberals hatred for this country!

  9. SFJeff says:

Getting old Heavy. Come on, can’t you come up with some new and innovative smears?

I have never figured out the crackpots on either the left or the right that accuse the otherside of ‘hating’ the U.S.. I think Cheney is pretty dispicable in many ways, and hate what he did for this country, but I don’t think he ‘hates’ the U.S.. I hate the filth that Michael Savage spews out over the radio waves but I don’t think he hates the U.S.

Basically unless an American is stating “I hate the United States”*, I am going to give them the benefit of the doubt- that they love our country, but may have a very different(and sometimes hateful) viewpoint of what the U.S. Government should be doing.

Heck, I think not even Heavy hates America, he just hates our governement, and 60% of the voters.

  10. Heavy says:

    60%? Another liberal lie!

Liberals DO hate America. They otherwise would not be liberals.

Call it smears, hatred or whatever you like. It is otherwise known as truth!

BTW, your messiah’s mate stated that she hates America and look where there got her. Must be the tredy thing to do.

  11. nbc says:

Liberals DO hate America. They otherwise would not be liberals.

Yes and ‘patriots’ love their country.

Is it not strange then how their actual behavior and arguments betrays them to contradict these claims?

  12. nbc says:

Orly has a posting that started to question Judge Land. I wonder what Judge Land may think of that kind of behavior…

    Can anyone say $20,000

  13. I know conservatives that made lots of money in Microsoft stock.

  14. I demonstrate my love of the United States by defending its laws and institutions on this web site.

  15. aarrgghh says:

    heavy howled:

the ONLY thing that is predictable is a liberals hatred for this country!

no, what is predictable are heavy’s comments, which really just consist of one or both of two simple childish taunts:

    “liar! fool!”

has our comic book villain yet made a comment which says any more than that?

  16. SFJeff says:

“your messiah’s mate stated that she hates America”

Umm my messiah wasn’t married and the United States didn’t exist yet. Maybe you are confused?

Heavy claims that liberals hate America. I think Heavy hates Americans.

  17. Per Son says:

My name is Orly. Sanctions are threatened so I do the following:

Encourage any yahoo to mail the Judge about the case (which I do by posting the letters), and quoting articles casting aspersions on the judge.

  18. sarina says:

    Just wondering..

I would love to hear any judge dismissing a case saying:
“Listen birthers, once and for all, Obama was born in Hawaii, he is a natural born citizen, it doesn’t matter if his father was from Kenya. We don’t go by Vattel or The Law of Nation so get over it he WON!

  19. Sally Hill says:

I agree 100% with a portion of your response – I too would love to hear a judge – I just want one to actually hear the case and make a ruling on NBC – since it has never been legally defined for purposes of POTUS.

I’m not so sure you would get your wish however, if a judge did hear the case. I’m not so sure they are going to think Obama Sr. doesn’t matter.

  20. Kevin Bell says:

“I agree 100% with a portion of your response”

Is this like saying 100% of 10%?? LOL

  21. euphgeek says:

He obviously thinks it’s still 2003.

  22. Mary Brown says:

Thank you. No one and no movement owns or defines this country.

  23. Lupin says:

Can anyone tell me if this article on newsmax is actually advocating a “bloodless coup” to take care of the “Obama problem”?

    http://www.newsmax.com/john_perry/obama_military_coup/2009/09/29/266012.html

I’m thinking of the US as the coyote after he’s stepped off the cliff.

  24. Lupin says:

Bush: Showing up at a tax-payer funded political rally for the president with another political candidate’s bumper sticker on your car = treason.

Obama: Forcibly removing the elected president from office and replacing him with a military junta = the highest form of patriotism.

  25. misha says:

They are skirting the 1st Amendment.

  26. Lupin says:

Time to reprint Williams’ NEGROES WITH GUNS and watch the birthers sh*t in their pants.

  27. Rickey says:

It appears that WND has taken it down, as the link no longer works.

Your search – related:www.newsmax.com/john_perry/obama_military_coup/2009/09/29/266012.html – did not match any documents.</b.

  28. Gordon says:

Media Matters has it. Also an interesting relating column by Thomas Friedman in yesterday’s NYT.

    http://www.nytimes.com/2009/09/30/opinion/30friedman.html

  29. Marc Elw says:

The article or a close one is still up on American Grand Jury

  30. I was specially interested in this comment in the NYT editorial:

The American political system was, as the saying goes, “designed by geniuses so it could be run by idiots.” But a cocktail of political and technological trends have converged in the last decade that are making it possible for the idiots of all political stripes to overwhelm and paralyze the genius of our system.

  31. Heavy says:

Doc, that’s very “Patriotic”, but your actions say the exact opposite.

The only thing this site and the scum who agree with it defend is the downfall of America.

It’s OK. You have the right to say what you want…For now, anyway. The libs are working very hard to make sure that right is taken away. The very pizzards you support will be the end of your right to free speech.

Everything the liberal does is designed to defeat America. They try to cloak it in patriotism but they fool only themselves.

So keep up the good work, doc. In the end, you can look at yourself in the mirror and know that you had a hand in the failure of this country!

  32. Black Lion says:

It looks like that might have been too much for even Newsmax. I find it funny how people can advocate coups here while Obama is the President, but if this had been a couple of years ago under Bush the writer and the website would have been vilified….From ConWebWatch….

“Newsmax has quietly removed without explanation John L. Perry’s column advocating a military coup against President Obama. Newsmax has offered no explanation or apology.”

    http://conwebwatch.tripod.com/graphics/nmperrycoup.pdf

I guess they believe that if they got rid of it there would be no proof that they advocated something so “Un-american”…But of course silence from Beck, Limbaugh, and the so called Newspeople at FOX…Can you imagine if it had been someone at media matters or huffington post who had written that?

  33. NBC says:

The only thing this site and the scum who agree with it defend is the downfall of America.

Yes, belief in our Constitution is going to be the downfall of America, right…

Us ‘scum’, are following the laws and facts. Those who want a duly elected President removed through un-constitutional means use name calling.

It’s not hard to tell the difference… Which must drive Heavy quite mad…

For that we thank Heavy as he exemplifies a side of the ‘argument’ that is best exposed.

  34. Black Lion says:

    Sedition…

    18 USC 2385

“knowingly or willfully advocate, abet, advise or teach the duty, necessity, desirability or propriety of overthrowing the Government of the United States or of any State by force or violence, or for anyone to organize any association which teaches, advises or encourages such an overthrow, or for anyone to become a member of or to affiliate with any such association”

It seems like to me all of these people that are advocating this are guilty…From the writer Perry to those idiots over at the American Grand Jury….

  35. Heavy says:

You are quite welcome, comrade! It is quite obviuos that protecting the Constitution is the LAST thing on your mind.

Time will tell and payback is a bitch!

  36. nBc says:

You are quite welcome, comrade! It is quite obviuos that protecting the Constitution is the LAST thing on your mind.

A statement contradicted by facts. Am I insisting a duly elected President be removed through non-Constitutional means? Am I insisting that the Constitution requires a candidate for Presidency to prove he is eligible? Do I ignore the Constitutional protections of Standing? Do I ignore the XII and XX Amendments which assign the role of qualifying the President to the Congress? Do I ignore the Constitutional power to impeach, which is granted solely to Congress?

    Facts don’t lie my friend.

What payback do you have in mind? When your side loses its next court case? Sanctions? What exactly do you imply here my dear confused friend.

  37. richCares says:

You have to remember you are responding to a right wing idiot, an idiot that consistently proves he is an idiot with his ignorant comments and simplistic buzzwords. You can probably guess how his nose got brown. He appears intent on proving that right wingers are really dumb, very successfully I might add. If right wingers had their way we would be in the dark ages. The average right winger fails 4th grade science.

  38. What the heck is a “pizzard”?

Heavy: In the end, you can look at yourself in the mirror and know that you had a hand in the failure of this country!

All things work together for good to those who love God; Romans 8:28

You just need a little faith.

  39. Paul says:

The birthers, the tea baggers, the screamers, and the deathers continued extreme minority presence will become tiresome to mainstream America, if it has not already done so. To all the birthers in La, La Land, it is on you to prove to all of us that your assertion is true, if there are people who were there and support your position then show us the video (everyone has a price), either put up or frankly shut-up. I heard Orly Taitz, is selling a tape (I think it’s called “Money, Lies and Video tape”). She is from Orange County, CA, now I know what the mean when they say “behind the Orange Curtain”, when they talk about Orange County, the captial of Conspiracy Theories. You know Obama has a passport, he travel abroad before he was a Senator, but I guess they were in on it. In my opinion the Republican Party has been taken over the most extreme religious right (people who love to push their beliefs on others while trying to take away the rights of those they just hate) and that’s who they need to extract from their party if they real want to win. Good Luck, because as they said in WACO, “We Ain’t Coming Out”. I heard that she now wants to investigate the “Republican 2009 Summer of Love” list: Assemblyman, Michael D. Duvall (CA), Senator John Ensign (NV), Senator Paul Stanley (TN), Governor Mark Stanford (SC), Board of Ed Chair, and Kristin Maguire AKA Bridget Keeney (SC).

    Black Lion:

Not just vilified either. A high school talent show brought out the Secret Service because one garage band sang Bob Dylan’s “Masters of War”.

    The final verse runs:

And I hope that you die
    And your death’ll come soon
    I will follow your casket
    In the pale afternoon
And I’ll watch while you’re lowered
    Down to your deathbed
And I’ll stand o’er your grave
‘Til I’m sure that you’re dead

Apparently Bob Dylan was so cunning that he knew Bush would launch the Iraq War forty years after he originally wrote the song, and intended that last bit for him alone.
