The Blood of Jesus v Obama

This blog not participating in the massive media blackout!

In what may turn out to be the cosmic confrontation of the century, “pastor” James D. Manning of the Atlah Worldwide Ministries is holding his one-party treason trial of Barack Obama.

We talked about this when it was announced last February. Salon.com’s Alex Pareene is on the scene covering the event. Jesus, perhaps displaying displeasure at the use of His name without permission, dumped rain on the opening rally.

At the opening, Manning said that the treason and and sedition charges were dropped, so this is now a case of “wire fraud”. (Well they got Al Capone on income tax evasion.)

Pareene said:

Security was intense — multiple guards with earpieces and a metal detector. And no cameras allowed inside. But everyone at the church was unfailingly kind and polite. Even when I said I was a reporter. Getting the crowd (which by this point had swelled to maybe 75 people) in took hours.

Day 1 Scoop and Videos: http://www.commieblaster.com

The prosecution dropped charges of treason and espionage to avoid complications with a death sentence.

  2. misha says:

From the mouth of a convicted multiple felon.

  3. misha says:

    Exactly what are you advocating?

  4. richCares says:

what a pathetic site that link shows, it appears to be in a mental ward

  5. Black Lion says:

That site makes Manning’s ranting look almost sane…I just lost 2 minutes of my life that I will never get back…

  6. US Citizen says:

I think Manning thought he’d become the next Malcolm X, but forget about that intelligence thang.
He’s got the Baptist “hellfire” pitch warble in his voice down pretty good though.
Too bad he’s still a common crook.
I was looking forward to that classic Malcolm X ending. 😉

  7. LCDR USN RET says:

Manning: A convicted felon, self appointed minister, self awarded PhD from his non-accredited college (basement of church)and undiagnosed lunatic.

  8. Lupin says:

I know we’re not suppose to say mean things to people but you’re making it awfully hard.

  9. Dave says:

    Manning didn’t want a death sentence? Isn’t that kind of… I don’t know… leftist?

I’ve been to Commieblaster before and what a waste of time for the reader. It’s like the designer was stuck in the 50s of red baiting.

Truly a website made for the paranoia.

  13. This link to the Conservative Monster blog has some fairly extensive coverage of the “trial”.

You’ll just have to explain that one to me.

Yes, fascinating how they are violating all tenets of a legal trial. As I expected, this is nothing more than a publicity stunt.

I clicked on the link for the picture. I got the “LOL” part. What’s the second?

Steve Cooper at The Conservative Monster blog is too much a wingnut to read for more than a few minutes.

What the major problem is that there are sites like the Post and Fail that recycle the same discarded trash to get their readers fired up and primed to believe almost anything against Obama….

    From today’s Post and Fail…

    http://www.thepostemail.com/2010/05/17/the-senate-defined-natural-born-citizen-in-2008-and-obama-didnt-qualify/

“The Constitutional power to define “natural born Citizens” was not intended to be left to the states. It was our common law, understood by every jurist of the time in the most quoted, the most cited, and the most important legal document in the framing of our Republic. The Law of Nations was the most cited legal reference by almost a factor of four between 1789 and 1821 (followed by Bynkeshoek and Pufendorf).”

The notion of “sovereign legal instruments” is a new twist.” We don’t need “sovereign legal instruments” to tell us that the four chief justices and dozens of justices of the Supreme Court who cite Vattel on “natural born Citizen,” and hundreds who cite Vattel on other legal matters (try to count the Vattel citations in James Wilson’s Philadelphia Lectures) have established our common law. There are well over 100 terms used in articles and amendments not defined in the body of the document. That was intentional. Madison, above, determined to keep the Constitution concise. A major role of the Supreme Court is to interpret the Constitution’s provisions.

Clever law professors such as Larry Tribe, for whom Obama was a research assistant, and whom Elena Kagan pardoned after Tribe was exposed as a plagiarist, will try to confuse the issue, but our framers said it simply and clearly, citing Vattel. A natural born citizen is born on our soil of citizen parents. Obama is ineligible, and if we have to have another revolution to return to the values which make our republic great, we will prevail.

Read the original sources. They are understandable. When Wong Kim Ark is raised, that is a common Obot smokescreen. Horace Gray was appointed by the only other usurper to sit in the White House, Chester Arthur, and his decision only applied to citizens, not natural born citizens. It is a confusingly-written document, but eventually cites Minor v. Happersett in which Vattel is cited. Since Wong Kim was never presumed to be a natural born citizen – he was born in San Francisco but of non-citizen parents – natural born citizenship was not at issue, and not determined. Some think Gray was creating smoke to protect his appointee.”

One of today’s “smoking gun” of evidence is the following….The old story of some Pakistan birth registry that is supposed to be proof that Obama was born in Kenya….If this is considered “evidence” then I can’t wait to see what else Manning’s got…lol.

“Witness Al Landry states that the Public Service Registry of Pakistan said 44th President, Obama (Kenyan born)…WOW”

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-TLf8_i08fg

    Other so called evidence…

“Witness Sabbath LaFleur states that nobody in the Col. Univ. Political Science dept. knew of Obama. No results for BO…” However the funny thing is that one of the commenters states the following….”Googling “Sabbath Lafleur” yields the fact that she works for Manning. Not exactly an unbiased witness.” You can’t make this stuff up….

    More “evidence….

“Wayne Allan Root stated that “Obama’s photo never appeared in the Col Univ. year book.” Nobody knew Obama…”

“Video played of Bill Hemmer from Fox news, report on how 400 ppl interviewed at Col. Univ. never heard of Obama, 2008.”

“Pastor Manning states “Obama never had a relationship with Harlem or Columbia University”.

WND Touts Obama ‘Trial’ By Crazy Person
    Topic: WorldNetDaily

Hhow far over the birther edge has WorldNetDaily gone? It’s endorsing the work of someone who despises President Obama even more than Joseph Farah and crew do.

A May 12 WorldNetDaily article by Stewart Stogel uncritically promotes what is “in essence a citizen’s court” by the Atlah World Missionary church in Harlem that will purport to examine President Obama’s “birth place, his citizenship status, his academic credentials and alleged ties to the Central Intelligence Agency as a student.” Stogel quotes church leader Rev. James Manning as sahing that “the proceedings are not a mock trial and are permitted under the U.S. Constitution,” though he concedes that “any verdict such a trial might produce would likely not be enforceable.”

Stogel benignly describes Manning as someone who believes “the mainstream media has consistently ignored important questions on the Obama presidency and the time has arrived to push for answers,” and allows Manning to uncritically portray the Harlem community as taking a “wait and see attitude” regarding him and and his trial.

Stogel is providing a strikingly dishonest portrait of Manning — starting with editing his name. He’s better known as James David Manning, as his website proclaims. It’sunclear why Stogel felt the need to edit out Manning’s middle name when he clearly uses it on a regular basis.

Even more egregious than editing Manning’s name, however, is Stogel’s whitewashing of Manning. Rather than being some benign pastor merely showing concern about Obama, Manning has been hurling unusually vicious smears against Obama, most infamously describing him as a “long-legged mack daddy.”

This August 2009 video rant by Manning is a prime example. Not only is the “long-legged mack daddy” slur prominent, Manning also calls Obama a “prolific liar and killer and murderer” and a “long-legged half-breed usurper illegal alien, a man who isn’t even a citizen. … Dick Cheney knows he’s not a citizen,” as well as a “quasi-Muslim socialist communist Marxist freak,” an emissary of the devil” and the “vice president of genocide in hell.” Manning adds: “Where’s Larry Sinclair when we need him?” And he sings about the alleged “love affair” between Obama and Sinclair. (Sinclair, if you’ll recall, is another favorite of WND.)

Unsurprisingly, this is not the first time WND has promoted this crazy person. In a November 2009 WND column, Alan Keyes — not exactly on the correct side of sanity himself — ran to Manning’s defense when his YouTube account was canceled. Keyes whitewashes Manning as well, omitting any reference to his repeated “long-legged mack daddy” references.

Why don’t Stogel and WND want you to know the truth about James David Manning?

Why doesn’t Alan Keyes want you to know the truth about James David Manning?

Because they agree with every Obama slur he makes. Obviously they must, or they wouldn’t promote him.

But they don’t have the guts to follow in Manning’s footsteps and call Obama a “long-legged mack daddy” in public. Wimps.

Why do you think “auntie” gets to stay here … she pulled the “I know the truth about his citizenship” card ..You deport me and it come out !!!!

Black Lion: The Law of Nations was the most cited legal reference by almost a factor of four between 1789 and 1821 (followed by Bynkeshoek and Pufendorf).

Anyone have any idea where they get “facts” like these? I’ve found a quantitative analysis of the citations by the Founding generation that shows that Blackstone was quoted much more than Vattel (Pufendorf also beat Vattel). A search of Supreme Court cases shows that Blackstone beat Vattel in any time period you want to choose. (In the 1789-1821 period, for example, it’s 275-75 in favor of Blackstone.)

They never cite their sources for these quantitative claims. Perhaps because the two times that Apuzzo has cited sources for the primacy of Vattel, reading those sources proved the opposite.

  25. SFJeff says:

“she pulled the “I know the truth about his citizenship” card”

Of course- the immigration judge is in Obama’s pocket just like all the other judges, and Congress, and the Electoral College and the voters.

Actually, I have to tell you- everybody but you is getting paid off by President Obama. I spoke with him about this and he told me that he just didn’t need your support.

Tone Loc: Why do you think “auntie” gets to stay here … she pulled the “I know the truth about his citizenship” card ..You deport me and it come out !!!!

I would guess that her case for asylum got much stronger when her nephew was elected president – she instantly became much higher profile and there are actual national security concerns (to the US) were she to be, say, imprisoned.

As someone who has known of Manning long before he began posting youtube videos, let me add my take. I first became aware of Manning from his broadcasts on local TV in NYC. At first he seemed like most other preachers, but I noticed he began to make very critical and judgmental statements against other more well known preachers, and began letting out weird screams. I told my wife he had jealousy and mental issues way back then. It was not long before he was no longer on the air, probably booted with good reason. Once Obama began to seriously contend for the nomination I became aware of Manning’s youtube rants. In viewing his archives I noticed the progression of his earlier postings from simply a continuation of his jealous tirades against more noted preachers, albeit with more venom than when he was on local TV. They then progressed towards local politicians in Harlem and media personalities. Obviously his jealousy issues were expanding. He began crazy campaigns, first against whites, thinking that he could gain a following and garner support from the local residents in Harlem against ‘the white interlopers’. About the time those were failing, Obama hit the national scene and became the object of all this jealous man’s attention and anger. Manning’s anger against blacks for not following him and seeing HIM as some sort of black messiah surfaced as well. No doubt this man has serious mental issues, but he’s still a THIEF and CON at heart and in some ways ‘crazy like a fox’.
