Obama aunt witnessed Barack Obama not being born in Kenya

President Obama’s aunt Zeituni Onyango was living in Kenya in 1961 and remembers being shown the letter from Barack Obama Sr. to her  mother announcing the birth of a son Barack Obama III in Hawaii.

Ms. Onyango is now hurt and angry over recent statements by Donald Trump casting doubts about Obama’s origins that she characterizes as:

A naked lie…in the name of the Lord

This  and more from an exclusive video interview on WHDH TV.

A large part of the hot air under the birther movement comes from an edited phone conversation between Onyango’s stepmother Sarah Obama and street preacher Ron McRae that appears to have her saying that she was present when President Obama was born, although in the full version it is clear she is saying exactly the opposite, that the President was born in Hawaii.

Obama family members have said in numerous interviews that President Obama was in Kenya for the first time as an adult. This is even reported by Jerome Corsi in his book, The Obama Nation (p 24-25).

The story of the letter from Hawaii announcing Obama’s birth was originally reported by the Chicago Tribune in March of 2007.

    Doc,

I’m confused … are you admitting that at the very least, Obama is in fact hiding something?

    Just curious.

The birthers could end this today by dropping all appeals of their court defeats, taking down all birther websites, stopping all posting of birther comments and issuing an apology to Obama and his entire family, whom they have slandered,

I’m not an anti-biirther, but I have to wonder why they refuse to put this matter to an end.

“Ms. Onyango is now hurt and angry over recent statements by Donald Trump…”

I’m counting down until the moment when Sharon Rondeau claims that Zeituni Onyango has been bought off and trotted out by The Obama Conspiracy just to make Trump look foolish.

Occam’s Razor keeps getting sharper by the day.

I’m an anti-birther precisely because I understand exactly why they won’t put it to bed.

    Scientist,

What hospital was Obama born at? If he was born there, why would he not let them confirm it? That’s the least of the privacy issues.

Since he wasn’t born there, why has his camp lied?

There are lots of shady aspects to the story, including an image on the internet that no legal authority (nor any newsgroup, which those at this site have claimed but have never given one shred of evidence for) ever saw but his own eventual (Joe Miller) federal employees “saw and handled”

    Enjoy the ride.

I wonder if he’ll forego Arizona’s electoral votes. Boy will that be a hoot! All not to show a “legit” birth certificate.

Dr. Conspiracy, at least your site will get thousands of hits. You’ll be silent but the vindication is coming.

Slack jawed, slack jawed will you be. I’m just trying to think of what excuses or explanations will come at that point. This is going to be quite fun.

I agree that they must be hiding an ulterior motive of some sort – I wonder what it could be… 😉

Kapioloni in all probability – why does it matter?

If he was born there, why would he not let them confirm it?

    Privacy laws forbid it.

That’s the least of the privacy issues.

Officials don’t decide what to do on a case by case basis – they follow the law and policy for all cases. You’ve gotten all that you’re going to get and you (the birthers in general) have demonstrated that you’ve gotten far more than ignorant, lying, seditious, bigots like yourselves deserve. Your attempts to drag this issue out only proves my assessment apt and helps the president’s reelection chances…

Since he wasn’t born there, why has his camp lied?

There is no evidence that President Obama was born anywhere else.

There are lots of shady aspects to the story, including an image on the internet that no legal authority (nor any newsgroup, which those at this site have claimed but have never given one shred of evidence for) ever saw but his own eventual (Joe Miller) federal employees “saw and handled”

The image posted on the ‘Fight the Smears’ website has been confirmed by offical statement and sworn testimony of officials from the department with custody of President Obama’s birth certificate to be a copy of said certificate which is prima facie proof that he is a natural born citizen of the US. That’s good enough for anyone who respects the Constitution, why isn’t it good enough for you?

    Enjoy the ride.

I will – I expect the show will keep going until President Obama leaves office 2017, but I’ll probably loose interest after the 2012 elections…

I wonder if he’ll forego Arizona’s electoral votes. Boy will that be a hoot! All not to show a “legit” birth certificate.

I’m wondering if the Arizona law might not end up screwing the Republicans – I know that the Arizona law (or any other state law) will either accept President Obama’s COLB as proof of natural born citizenship or fail to pass Constitutional muster, but if it asks for a long form President Obama could just submit his (if this can, in fact, be produced at his request) and leave any Republicans who’s state doesn’t have such a document out in the cold. This would be very funny to us obots…

Dr. Conspiracy, at least your site will get thousands of hits.

Well deserved for the scholarship Doc has displayed…

You’ll be silent but the vindication is coming.

I suspect that Doc will continue to report the facts no matter what happens – come back in a year and gloat about how Doc has shut up (or will your vindication still be coming then?). More likely, you wont even be a memory and Doc will still be going strong…

Slack jawed, slack jawed will you be.

That would be standard birther projection, Cletus…

I’m just trying to think of what excuses or explanations will come at that point.

I’m happy to help – I’m guessing that if, say, a birther case achieves standing and is heard by a court, then the excuses afterwards will be along the lines of ‘the judge was a traitor!’ and that they will be coming from the birthers.

This is going to be quite fun.

For us, yes. For you, I fear, not so much…

I’m just as enthusiastic as you. I hope Trump continues and I hope his poll numbers skyrocket.

This will absolutely KILL the Republicans chances in 2012.

You have the power to make all of those questions go away. Stop posting and get on wiith your llfe. Spring iis here. Take a canoe out on a lake, plant a garden, go to a baseball game. All will get you far more than needlessly worrying over trivia.

The birthers have the power to end the conntroversy and improve their own lives at the same time. Why won’t they? Why? Why?

Just like Birthers have to believe Obama was born in Kenya, they have to believe Obama won’t comply with the Arizona bill. With countless OMG moments that have not come to pass they stlll believe, Yes really silly but that’s the Birther Way!
    .
As for the Arizona bill, it is more likely a Republican won’t meet the AZ law (Obama would)

    > but the vindication is coming.

Well, it would have to wait in line, behind “the end of the world”, “the second coming of Christ” and a whole lot of crank predictions of what would happen “any day now” for the past 50 years.

I think I can get you a reservation for “one day after the end of eternity”, though. If the tip is high enough, of course, because Soros already has first dibs on that appointment.

    Kaapiolani,

Yeah, he didn’t let them confirm it. He just wrote them a letter saying he was born there, let the Governor of Hawai’i read it at their centenary celebrations, let them put it on their website and let them use it for fund-raising. But He never let them CONFIRM it.

Odds are good you cant even see the hilarity in that statement…
