Smith sells POSFKBC

In a communication received by Obama Conspiracy Theories last evening, Lucas D. Smith reports the sale of his art work, Orly Taitz and her exhibits, for $350. Maybe I was asleep on this one, but apparently the art auction lot also contained at least one of the physical exhibits Orly Taitz submitted in her California lawsuit, the Kenyan birth certificate [or not] popularly referred to as the POSFKBC. Mr. Smith published details of the transaction.

Following our policy on personal information, we will not publish the name, address, age, social-security number, kindergarten records, passport, selective service registration, religious preference, pet names and birth certificate of the purchaser.

So I guess he only got the one bid – I wonder who the proud new owner is…

  2. Hawaiiborn says:

Bruce Steadman according to the scribd document. I hope that Brucy knows that he got forged evidence.

  3. Paul Pieniezny says:

Right. We all wonder who Bruce Steadman is, I suppose?

Surprise, surprise, he has already been cited as a sponsor of Mr Not-so-hot-millions Smith, as he supposedly paid 3,000 dollars to financially support Mr Smith’s letter to the US Congress on July 4, 2010.

Since the POSFKBC is really only worth the paper it is written, this means Orly’s exhibits should be valued at less than 12% of a letter to Congress.

I sure would be p.ssed if I were her.

(In case you are wondering, the singer is not extolling the virtues of our Birfer Queen, but congratulating Orly Airport for causing the death of Brazilian nazi politician Filinto Müller in an air crash in 1973 – http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Varig_Flight_820)

Is Lucas just tired of holding on to this thing and not getting any money? I don’t get it.

  6. Scientist says:

Donald Trump couldn’t shell out a few million for this? What a cheapskate!

  7. kimba says:

He says the POSFKBC was transferred from Steadman to Smith’s attorney in NJ on Dec 10, 2010. A NJ attorney? A NJ birther attorney maybe?

  8. Suranis says:

Congratulations to Mr Steadman on buying a piece of paper worth rather less than the ink that’s printed on it.

  9. wait!!!!!!!!!!

how do we know this entire thing hasn’t been a forgery from start to finish????

Was there ever a painting? Was there ever an auction?

    Is Lucas Smith even REAL???

  10. J. Edward Tremlett: Is Lucas Smith even REAL???

There is evidence of Lucas Smith from official public records.

Steadman has been playing Smith’s game for quite some time now. He’s probably just a front, like the barber who in Hot Millions provided cover for Caesar Smith, who was a bit more successful selling hot air by computer than our Lucas.

I am not American, so that may explain why I am astonished not to find Mr Steadman’s signature on any of this. Is that normal, and is it normal for someone living in California selling a work of art to someone from Georgia to use a notary in Nevada?

Is Steadman getting the kenya thing?. It sounds like that part is just for the historical record. Whatver that means. Lucas gave the kenya paper to Steadman in Aug, 2010 and Steadman gave it back to Smith in Dec, 2010. Is it now going back to Steadman? That piece of paper is really racking up the frequent flyer miles.

Sounds like a typical con shell game between Steadman and Smith.

Either Steadman is Smith’s steady mark, a rube he can count on to get a stream of cash out of every so often, or part of being in on the con all along.

G: or part of being in on the con all along.

You mean like several people selling each other the same house, over and over again, each time inflating the selling price?

Lucas Smith should fake his own death, artwork usually is more expensive after the artist dies.

    Yes, that type of con.

Actually, I think it is illegal under eBay’s terms to run that type of con in order to run up a bid. Of course, they have to catch you and have proof… but that is what con artists do.

  16. gorefan says:

G: Yes, that type of con.

If Lucas was really serious about his art, he would at least cut off an ear.
