Private Obot thread: don’t rat us out!

The idea for this thread came from a comment at BR:

They’re trying to figure that out too since it dawned on them that someone is leaking all of their private threads. That’s why you don’t see them around – they’re busy sleutherizing the in-house moles.

Secret Obot master encryption key. Do not under any circumstances give this to Mike Zullo.

Tee-hee-hee. I will soon be moving tons of secret DARPA stuff here for backup just in case the worst happens.

Is this thread why you removed the comments tab from the widget on the right?

    Dr. Conspiracy March 24, 2014 at 2:50 pm #

Yes, there appears to be a bug in the Woo – Tab widget that shows comments on a password-protected article. They have acknowledged a probable bug and I hope they will fix it soon. Since this is a commercial product and they typically have lots of updates.
The other comments widget seems to be OK.

I use the comments tab but the other one is almost as convenient. I was wondering what you had in mind for this? Is it just to make the Birthers curious?

I have sent the password to a few regular commenters.

The purpose of the article is just to make a private Obot thread since a commenter at BR said the obots would feed the info to Zullo.

    Thanks for the invitation.

    I suddenly want Ovaltine now.

Wow. I thought I was having a bad time trying to guess what I was sure was an obvious password.

I would have never guessed that. Thanks for putting me out of my misery.

No Ovaltine for me thanks. I think I’m going to have a nice cold Thomas Cooper’s Selection Celebration Ale!

Keith: I would have never guessed that.

Birtherism has finally spoiled me. The other day I read a forum where a guy was named “loverobot”, and instead of “love robot” I read it as “lover obot”…

Thanks for the invite, Doc. (Not that I would’ve needed it since the 400 Obamahertz supercomputer our Beloved Alien Overlords provided me with would’ve cracked the password faster than Orly can say “eligibility”.)

    Doc

Are you planning anything special for April Fool’s Day? I was thinking about a breaking story about the FBI arresting Zullo and Gallups for fraud? The article tags could be satire, wishful thinking. I bet we could crowd-source it here.

    Or how about

    * “I’m closing down and leaving the country”
    * “Roy Moore joins Klayman’s SCOTUS case”
    * “Boehner offers amnesty to Fogbow”
    * “Scrubbed: SCOTUS reopens birther case” (with a doctored screenshot of the SCOTUS docket)
    * Sotomayor resigns from SCOTUS; House nominates Roy Moore as replacement”
    * “Putin annexes Hawaii, opens records vault”
    * “Alvin Onaka missing for six weeks”

I think I can do better but I’m too tired today.

I did a quick check of media in Kenya to see if there was any breaking news in Obama’s “home country” that would be of Obot interest. I didn’t see anything specifically related to topics here, but you all might be interested in a topic of universal interest:

I don’t have an AF story yet. I suppose some sort of coordinated effort with lots of comments, and articles at multiple sources would make a better impact.

Can you manually manipulate the message count? Running it up a couple hundred messages a day ought to drive them crazy!

I always thought Before It’s News should be renamed It Will Never Be News

It is kookier that BR or the Globe. (No offense meant Doc. My blog is there too.)

I thought for sure the six dots were a clue and tried all sorts of 6 character combos from ‘nobama’ to ‘birfer’. and ‘bhobot’ to ‘unisht’ (I kid you not). I think I even tried ‘cosmos’.

Anybody seen the word puzzle ‘Funny Farm’? It was popular on the net a few years ago. If you haven’t already been driven crazy by it try google to find it. It can be frustrating though.

What would you think if we shut down all the anti-birther blogs for the morning of April 1?

  25. avatar
Andrew Vrba, PmG March 27, 2014 at 10:58 am #

Nah Doc, just a message that reads. “All is going exactly as planned!” Or something really cryptic. You’re a better wordsmith than I, so I’m sure you can come up with something panic inducing! 🙂

Anywho, I read a pretty good post on the facebook page, “The Many Lies of Mike Zullo and Carl Gallups”. The owner posted this:

“Is it twisted of me to take perverse pleasure in knowing that birthers will be miserable for the rest of their sorry lives because the President will have a library, will go on speaking tours, and forever will be known as the 44th President of the United States?”

He makes a good point. Many birthers are going to be in self-afflicted misery the rest of their lives, because they just can’t let go. But they have only themselves to blame, so yeah, it’s okay to point at laugh at them.

I was watching a program on one of those cable channels devoted to such stuff about the modern day business of making luxurious bomb shelters and was thinking if I’d seen it earlier you could have run a special on the blog for folks to get their signature Obama Conspiracy Theories bomb shelter.

But alas…..it looks like we’re out of time.

As to your question: How long would you stay down? I can see playing it for a few hours. Shutdown at midnight your time……find some graphic, or a loop of scenes from Tornado!, and then show folks peaking out to see what’s left of humanity.

I wonder what they’re planning over at BirtherReport. I wonder how that new server is doing.

I think shutdown just for the morning. I found a graphic on the Internet that I think is a concept of what the site might look like:

I love it. The birthers will go crazy.

If you do it at midnight eastern time it will get the folks out here talking. They should be in a real tizzy by the morning.

They’re in a fine lather at BirtherReport today.

They’re talking about Seamus’ visit here. *FALCON* is sputtering about FEMA camps, boxcars with walls lined with handcuffs and complete with guillotines ready to start chopping off the heads of malcontents like us.

If they’re falling for that crap they’ll be wetting their pants come April 1st with Doc’s plan.

Gotta wonder if people like Falcon keep it on the net, or if they spout this stuff to people IRL. If Falcon talks have the smack outside the net that he does online, he’ll never live it down.

There are so many things to wonder about vis a vis *FALCON* and his ilk.

But you’re right…..if he spouts this stuff at his neighborhood bar next week is going to very unpleasant for him.
