This happened sooner than I expected. Judge G. Murray Snow opened the way for parties in the Melendres lawsuit to release items in evidence to the public. Now explosive audio recordings made by Mike Zullo are available to the public, published by Stephen Lemons at the Phoenix New Times.
I have doubts that the individuals on these tapes, such as Sheriff Arpaio, Brian Mackiewicz and Tim Blixseth, knew that they were being recorded.
Perhaps Zullo could get one of these:

On the tapes it is clear that Bixleth has confused Romney for McCain and birth certificate for passport records.

I gotta say that, when someone describes a rabbit wearing a Hawaiian shirt and a bizarre mismatched hat, with only one ear that’s smaller than its foot, as “This bunny USB webcam looks just like a normal stuffed bunny at first glance”, it might be time for him to take a break from exotic gadgets, and spend a few months reviewing stuff like printers and laptops to regain his perspective…

The Fruit of the Poison Tree Part 1. Blixseth talks about Brennan, Romney, Clinton and Obama BC. But it is clear he is talking about the 2008 election so must mean McCain not Romney. And he is confusing the passport breech with the birth certificate. And adding Lt. Quarles’ shooting for good measure.

The Brennan/birth certificate stuff sounds a lot more like typical birther gossip, screwing up stuff they read in WND, than somebody with any actual knowledge of anything.

On the Lockheed tape at the 7:30 mark Montgomery is talk about chain of evidence and it sounds like he says,
“A perfect example … on the child porn drive”
I didn’t see it, but it may have been scrubbed.

I read the article about “The Perfect Mark” over here the other day. This strongly reminds me of that. I can imagine Montgomery going “Mike, I need another $7,000 to go to Lockheed to rent time on their supercomputer… no, you don’t need to go with me… and another $3,000 to bribe security to let me bring my USB stick…. and another $1,000 for other expenses…”.
