Update: Quite a few additional items have been added since the original publication of this article, and continue to be added.

According to the Obama denialists the “truth” involves many actors hiding that truth including:

1. The United States Army. There are several instances of this, including the allegation that the Army rescinded deployment of Major Cook to keep Obama’s records from coming out (they wouldn’t) and the refusal by the Investigating officer in the Lakin prosecution to allow him to subpoena Obama’s kindergarten records.
2. Billionaire George Soros who is secretly pulling the strings behind “all this.”
3. Nancy Peolsi, Chairwoman of the Democratic National Convention who signed an affidavit that Obama was eligible.
4. The document forgers who forged the COLB and created fake microfilm containing Obama birth announcement in Hawaii newspapers, and their accomplices who have replaced all the copies in all the libraries.
5. John McCain, Hillary Clinton and the entire Republican Party who inexplicably failed to raise the eligibility issue during the debates and the campaign.
6. White House press secretary Robert Gibbs who keeps reporters from asking probing questions about Obama’s eligibility.
7. The FEMA officials who hiding the fact that  they are planning to house all the birthers once they are rounded up.
8. The CIA. The CIA is covering up the “fact” that Obama worked for them in Afghanistan during the Soviet occupation there, funneling arms to the Taliban (which didn’t exist at at that time).
9. Columbia University who conspired with the CIA to create a fake story of a student named Obama attending Columbia, while Obama himself was in the was working in Pakistan/Afghanistan.
10. Obama’s African relatives have caved in to pressure and  now staunch deny that the President was born in Kenya.
11. Obama’s grandmother, Madelyn Dunham who fraudulently registered his birth in Hawaii. Also the corrupt local registrar in Hawaii who registered Obama’s birth without asking the smallest question to verify it.
12. Attorney General Eric Holder for various reasons including refusal to bring a quo warranto action against the President and for cutting deal with Judge Clay D. Land in Georgia to dismiss Orly’s case  (he didn’t).
13. The US Department of Justice who defends the President against lawsuits instead of prosecuting him.
14. The United States Congress who certified Obama’s election even though all of them knew that presidents had to have two citizen parents.
15. A long list of federal judges, such as David O. Carter, who have been called traitors.
16. Several state courts who have dismissed birther lawsuits and prevented the documents from coming to light, chief of them the Indiana court of appeals (in Ankeny v. Daniels).
17. The government of Kenya. An anonymous affidavit  filed by Phil Berg says the government of Kenya has classified Obama’s Kenyan birth certificate “top secret” although in the affidavit they seem to talk about this freely.
18. The State of Hawaii, Governor Lingle and Department of Health director Chiyome Fukino (who has been called a criminal for not releasing information and a criminal when she does release information) for her gratuitous remark that Barack Obama is a natural born citizen of the United States. Also the legislature of Hawaii for passing a law restricting the ability of birthers to demand the same information over and over.
19. The justices and staff of the Supreme Court, who promised to hear Orly’s case, but didn’t and even (according to her) deleted her case from the court’s electronic docket (they didn’t), and also because the Court held a secret meeting with Obama and Biden just before the inauguration where the plan to hide the truth was hatched.
20. The Social Security Administration, who  failed to prosecute Barack Obama for (as claimed by Orly Taitz) using 39 different Social Security numbers.
21. The Selective Service System, who in response to a Freedom of Information Act request disclosed Barack Obama’s Selective Service registration form which birthers claim is false.
22. The US Department of State for interpreting their regulations that prohibit release of FOIA information on living persons as applicable to President Obama.
23. The main stream media (ALL OF IT)  who have conspired to keep the eligibility controversy out of the public eye, except as a matter of ridicule. This includes The New York Times, Fox News Network and the rest of the print media and television. CNN is particularly notable because it fired birther sympathizer Lou Dobbs.
24. Debra Bowen, Secretary of State of California, sued by Alan Keyes for not keeping Obama off the ballot. Also Governor Daniels of Indiana and 49 other state secretaries of state for the same reason.
25. The Electoral College. Some of its members were contacted by birthers and made aware of the allegations of Obama’s ineligibility. They elected him anyway.
26. Me. That’s right, your own Dr. Conspiracy has been accused of doing what I do for pay, not out of conviction, both me and anyone else who defends Obama on the Internet. I don’t actually defend Obama, but just debunk conspiracy theories. But out of the 69,000,000 people who voted for Obama in the last election, you would think a handful would be willing to defend Obama on the Internet for free.
27. Oh and those 69,000,000 million voters must have voted so because of race or they wanted to destroy America or they were communists or terrorist sympathizers.
28. And finally Barack Obama himself who has spent millions of dollars (not really) to keep his documents hidden.

Today’s Americans probably know little about lynching, mob murder of someone they take a dislike to. For the reader who is not familiar with this blot on American history, I suggest Lynching in the United States.  Between 1880 and 1951 the Tuskegee Institute recorded 3,437 lynchings of African Americans, as well as 1,293 whites.

René Girard talks  about mob violence in his book, The Scapegoat. Girard’s thesis is that pressures in a community build up, and through an act of violence opposing forces can unite at least for a time, and some sense of relief can be found.

At this time in American history with the economy in shambles, two wars, high profile public figures shown corrupt, and threats of terrorism and global ecological disaster, there is no shortage of pressure. When the mob chooses a victim, they pick someone who is “different”. To many Barack Obama is “different” because of his race, the fact that he’s mixed race, lived in Indonesia and doesn’t pass the right-wing litmus test on anything.

Of course, no one can lynch the President, but the language of violence and the mob frenzy is there., the dancing glee expressed in visions of Obama being led off in handcuffs, the call for mass revolt in the military, and the creation of a “civilian militia”. Obscene images, and violent speech substitute verbal violence for physical violence. What you are looking at today both in the “birther” movement and in some of the virulent right-wing web sites is what a lynch mob looks like on the Internet.

Perhaps venting their anxiety and for a moment forgetting the real problems in America by focusing on Barack Obama will give some temporary relief and reconciliation. It won’t last. Violence is always just a temporary solution.

If the law enforcement and government of this country does not step up to the plate and doesn’t announce official investigation of this matter immediately, we need to protect ourselves, we need civilian militia, we need our own investigating services, we need new government.

This is from the same web page where Taitz disclosed a name, social security number and DOB of a Washington state woman. Taitz, or someone close to her, has injected some sanity and the page containing the preceding quote was deleted from her blog.

On a less militant note, but equally crazy, commenters over at the Obami.com blog sound like the world as we know is about to end. Here are some samples:

It is becoming apparently clear that the corruption and blackmail and coverups in Washington run very deep. The Bush’s, Clinton’s and Mr. Obama have all sold out. They have so much dirt on each other that none of them can stand up for our Country. This all goes way back to Obama’s Mom at the Ford Foundation and money laundering, micro loans, Africa’s oil , Marc Rich, and the Unocal pipeline. There is no stopping this bus unless they are all brought down. They have the power and the appointee’s including corrupt Rahm (money laundering King) working to build their empires as they destruct America. It is a sad day in America. The ignorant in America have continued election after election to put these elitist in Office and we have paid the price for it. In the end our freedom and great Country will be sacrificed. The supreme court is just a voice for the President. There is no justice or honor involved.

Here is the painful reality. Fitzgerald has been investigating Obama along with Blagojovitch from many long past months. Fitzgerald already knows Obama has already committed enough crimes to be arrested, stand trial, found guilty and sit in jail above and beyond failing to meet Consitutional requirements Section II part I. So does the American public, Obama”s key campaign advisors, the Clintons, Pelosi, and the entire gang of lawless conspirators who are responsible for installing a usurper into the Whitehouse. Obama’s many felony crimes are all so well known by so many, there is no doubt that Fitzgerald was ordered to keep his hands off Obama. In exchange for looking the other way, Fitzgerald was given Blagojevitch as one gives a dog a bone. Obama is simply above the law and untouchable.

…There will be so little time left before the Obama regime starts shutting all voices that oppose him. Let us speak out while we still can!
