Kenyan Newspaper Identifies Obama Birthplace
Posted on Saturday, February 14, 2009 in Birth Location
In the article Kogelo awakes to new dawn, Kenyan newspaper “The Saturday Nation” describes the changes in President Obama’s ancestral village:
The road that connects it to the Kisumu-Bondo Road at Ndori junction is in much better condition, and the homestead of Barack Obama’s extended paternal family — which has become an almost familiar spot on the world map — is under 24-hour armed security.
Domestic and foreign tourists have been flocking to Kogelo to see the birthplace of the US president’s father.

Slightly off topic: Dr. C is right that there is no evidence at all that President Obama was born in Kenya, but I’m not so sure that even if the birfers could show that he was born in Kenya, that it would make any difference to a court. It seems to me that the 1952-1986 law regarding citizenship to children born outside the U.S. was intended to apply to parents who established residency outside the U.S., not parents who were merely vacationing. There must be at least 100 million Americans or so who were born between 1952 and 1986. Surely among these millions there must be someone whose mother was under 19 and married to a non-citizen, and who was born outside the U.S. while the parents were vacationing. It would be an interesting piece of research to see whether that person had to go through naturalization proceedings(what a waste of time!), or if they were simply regarded as a citizen at birth.

Conversely, one might imagine those of a certain class whose daughters were sent to “study abroad” as teenagers, and who were not expected to bring inconvenient souvenirs home with them.

That’s already covered by the law. Children born abroad of unwed American mothers are automatically citizens.

But, to the hardcore right wingers this issue has nothing to do with “citizen” it is a “natural born citizen.” For every reasonable explanation you give these people, they will have 10 to the contrary. They have made up so much bs to have to prove who is a NBC that it is a wonder we have ever had a president! One piece I’ve read indicated that Pres. Obama’s step grandmother said in a recorded interview that she was present at his birth in Kenya – only when someone else translated what was said it was that she was present at Obama Sr.’s birth in Kenya. This is how they manipulate the situation.

Listen, Pres. Obama is clearly hiding SOMETHING here, otherwise he would not have spent tens of thousands of dollars defending his postion, he would simply have shown a real birth certificate. It is likely he was born in Hawaii, but few people know for sure. There is also the citizenship issue. There is eveidence that at one point in his life he was a citizen of Indonesia and Kenya. These facts alone beg for further investigation. He may not be hiding anything of consequence, but he is hiding something.

Buchwheat19, if you look at the lawsuits directed at Obama, they aren’t about looking at a birth certificate. Everybody has already seen a birth certificate. They make all sorts of outrageous allegations that showing a birth certificate wouldn’t solve. They ask for a birth certificate, sure, but they also raise other issues that must be defended against.
Having spent a long time studying this, and having read many lawsuits and having listened to lawyers’ comments, I firmly believe that the main lawsuits are designed exactly so that they cannot be answered by any documentation, and that they cannot go to trial. They are solely designed for negative publicity. By tacking the birth certificate request onto the lawsuit, they can claim “Obama is hiding his birth certificate” when in truth he is defending against many things.
Keep in mind this fact, no lawsuit so far has merited hearing by a court. That speaks to the quality of the lawsuits!
There is no evidence that Obama was ever an Indonesian citizen and it is impossible both under US and Indonesian law. Further one of our contributors here called the Indonesian embassy in Washington, and they said Obama had never been an Indonesian citizen. You can call them yourself!
It is likely that Obama was a dual US/British and later a dual US/Kenyan citizen until age 21, but this has no bearing on his US citizenship and eligibility to be president. Obama is not the first US president to have had dual citizenship at birth.
Browse around this web site. There are over 100 documented articles on these subjects. I would suggest starting with the Featured Articles link under Conspiracies on the right side of the page.

OBAMA has no legal right to be President. The law states that if one parent is a citizen and the other is not, the one who is must be at least 16 and have been a citizen for 5 years since the time they turned 16. Obamas mother was 18 when she gave birth to him in Hawaii which which was 3 years short of the requirement therefore he is NOT qualified to hold the office of President. That is the law. He was handpicked by the globalists, one of his mentors was Kissinger you know the same guy who said that “soldiers were big dumb animals to be used for war”. I would suggest watching “The Obama Deception”.

Yes, but when taken out of context with the requirements for foreign born children, one may come to the confused and erroneous conclusion that Obama is not a US citizen.
Seems ignorance is a powerful explanation for people’s obsession with Obama’s eligibility and citizenship status. Seems to me that the gullible are quick to accept anything as a ‘fact’.

There is no such law. You are confusing the requirements with foreign born children.
Ignorance is bliss it seems.

NASH, if any such presidential requirement existed, don’t you think someone in Congress would have noticed? Instead they unanimously certified the election.

You can present arguments from 1000 different directions and get 1000 different opinions. The facts appear to reveal the following: This guy showed up in New York in June 1981 without the price of a hotel room in his pocket. Within a month he was on a round the world trip from New York to Jakarta and Pakistan…..what passport did he travel under ? Who funded the trip ? It is apparent that his accent to his present position was a perfectly designed International and domestic plan that worked as designed. Now in place note his appointments and basic ideology. This all speaks for itself.

His US passport. This man will never be accepted by you because you believe this nonsense about an international conspiracy. By the way, I agree with some of his policies not others. What am I a half member of the cabal? This whole bit of nonsense is an evil attempt to overthrow a government whose policies you disagree with. What would you do to the millions of us who believe his policies are true to American values? Put us in jail, stop our right of free speech, open camps? You really need to be aware of the implications of your views. Oh, and as you can see we are not going to be silent.

It must a hereditary trait. BO’s mother was too poor and physically incapacitated to travel to Africa to see her in-laws, but 3 weeks after giving birth she traveled from Hawaii to Washington State with her infant child to enroll and attend classes at college.
Strangely, the bride’s husband stay in Hawaii with his in-laws to continue his college education.

You may be unfamiliar with the physical condition of a mother in the few weeks before birth which are quite different from directly after.
Furthermore, the difference between a flight from Hawaii to Washington and Hawaii to Kenya should be obvious.
Your rhetorical question is somewhat misplaced.

So, the Hawaiian hospital in Honolulu (one of two) in 1961 admitted BO’s mom a week before she gave birth and then released her a few hours after she gave birth.
I thought it was the other way around in 1961.

Strawman argument?
A quick google search indicates recovery time for the mother after a vaginal birth is usually one to two weeks.
If I recall, visits to the pediatrician for the infant are frequent after the birth. I’m skeptical Stanley Ann gave birth on Aug. 4, 1961 and then made it to Washington State in time to enroll.

Sven, I have given birth-3 times so let me fill you in. The week after each birth was the most difficult. I was tired and had to deal with difficulty walking and just getting the horomones in balance. By 3 weeks I was doing everything I always did. Two of my deliveries were easy, one due to a prolapsed umbilical cord was not. My mom came for 2 weeks after each baby and then I was on my own.

Sven, There is a big difference in flying to Washington State and to flying and going by train to Mombasa. I think you need to do some reasearch. There is a big difference in traveling when you are eight or nine months pregnant and when you are 3 weeks after a delivery. I have life experience to go with my statement. Do you?

And yet the facts once again seem to disagree with you.
Visits to the pediatrician are at birth, some follow up and then 6 months and 1 year. Surely you are not suggesting that Washington has no pediatricians?
It is established that Stanley Ann visited her friends in Mercer Island about a month after giving birth to Barack.
As to the time for recovery, you are confusing being able to travel with full recovery.
I understand though your reluctance. Play on

Sven, There are birth announcements in two Hawaii papers. The folks who do vital statistics in the hospital send those to the paper. I have my son’s announcement sent by the base hospital to the base paper. I did not send it nor did my husband, the hospital did. As did the hospital where Obama was born. Also, give me a Kenyan birth certificate and a port of entry birth certificate. You need both.

From what I have read in the Hawaiian papers, the birth announcements in Hawaii at that time came through the state department of health, not directly from the hospital.

It’s also dated 17 February 1964, during which time Kenya was known as the “Dominion of Kenya”, not the “Republic of Kenya”. It wouldn’t become known as the “Republic of Kenya” until 12 December 1964.
