The end of “free” speech!

Mario Apuzzo

Mario Apuzzo

That’s what Charles Kerchner (of Kerchner v. Obama fame) says in an email to Obama Conspiracy Theories:

“Google threatens to delete blog of Attorney suing the President and Congress”

Marrio Apuzzo’s blog is hosted at Blogger.com (a Google company). Blogger provides free blogs to folks, including Mario Apuzzo. Many blogs, Obama Conspiracy Theories excepted, are hosted on such free sites. But I digress…. Here is the purported email from Google:

Hello,

Your blog at: http://puzo1.blogspot.com/ has been identified as a potential spam blog. To correct this, please request a review by filling out the form at [Hyperlink removed by Dr. C]

Your blog will be deleted in 20 days if it isn’t reviewed, and your readers will see a warning page during this time. After we receive your request, we’ll review your blog and unlock it within two business days. Once we have reviewed and determined your blog is not spam, the blog will be unlocked and the message in your Blogger dashboard will no longer be displayed. If this blog doesn’t belong to you, you don’t have to do anything, and any other blogs you may have won’t be affected.

We find spam by using an automated classifier. Automatic spam detection is inherently fuzzy, and occasionally a blog like yours is flagged incorrectly. We sincerely apologize for this error. By using this kind of system, however, we can dedicate more storage, bandwidth, and engineering resources to bloggers like you instead of to spammers. For more information, please see Blogger Help: http://help.blogger.com/bin/answer.py?answer=42577

Thank you for your understanding and for your help with our spam-fighting efforts.

Sincerely,

The Blogger Team

I’m familiar with spam blogs that have posted tracebacks to this blog (so that links back to them increase web traffic). The linked article from blogger.com above explains the problem. My guess is that some malicious person reported Apuzzo’s blog. (It seems unlikely that the blog would appear as spam to an automated classifier, anthough there is is a tremendous amount of repetition among birther blogs.) Kerchner, of course, is all paranoid, saying:

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED YOU ARE NEXT!!!

This is why I’m glad I’m not a conspiracy theorist–it must be a hard life seeing the world that way.

The proof one way or another is whether Apuzzo stays on the air (it’s online right now). My advice: get a real web site instead of a freebie. This is the same “do it on the cheap” that got Orly Taitz in so much trouble with her succession of blogs.

By the way, did anybody note the stiking similarity in the photo of Mario Apuzzo in this article and the one on Mario’s web site? Did I copy it from him? No, he copied it from here. ROFL.

Update

Charles Kerchner is growing increasingly suspicious that Google is part of the conspiracy, as evidenced by this email update:

For Immediate Release

Monday, July 27, 2009

Censorship by Google CEO and Google & BlogSpot Robots, Altered Search Engine Algorithms, and Biased Google Staff and destroying a national resource’s usefulness as a place to find current information.

Censorship by Google and BlogSpot Robots, Altered Search Engine Algorithms, and Biased Google Staff. A National Resource and Public Corporation has been Compromised by an Extremely Politically Biased CEO .

25 July 2009 – Note from the moderator and contributors: A notice has been received from Google and Blogspot that this blog may be deleted in 20 days based on complaints (probably phony spamming and TOS violation charges filed by the Obots or concerns being passed down from the top itself). If this blog is taken down or deleted in the next few weeks, please move to the parallel/mirror blog which has copies of the posts posted here. It is located at: http://puzo1.wordpress.com/

Please make a note of that URL. However, do not post any new comments there at that site until such time as we have to abandoned this blog due to this obvious attempted harassment and censorship by Google and BlogSpot staff disguised and hiding behind the guise of it being anonymous unnamed “robots” having flagged and locked this blog. Note: Google’s CEO is a member of the Obama technology team and a major funds contributor to Obama. Google has changed their “robot” algorithms to protect Obama and are censoring and “sand boxing” conservative websites such as WorldNetDaily.com. See this post at WND.com for more details: http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=104947

26 Jul 2009 – Update: The threat and warning message in the owner and moderator’s screens that this blog is being reviewed as a spam blog and if found to be so would be deleted in 20 days was addressed by Atty Apuzzo, the blog owner, and the warning message has now been removed.

  1. mimi says:

Kerchner pays for a full-page ad in the Washington Times (or so it was reported), yet they have a freebie blog.

Something is wrong with this picture.

  2. nbc says:

Its all about creating some sense of ‘controversy’ or ‘manufactroversy’

  3. jtx says:

    nbc:

And now the REAL “conspiracy theorist” out himself …

  4. FlameThrowerExtraordinaire says:

I received an email reportedly from Obama Crimes (Berg) indicating they were having trouble with their blog host and would have short term interruptions.

If there is nothing to hide, then why all the harassment?

  5. nbc says:

    It’s not a conspiracy, it’s a manufactroversy…

Comprehend before you post and you will look just a little bit less foolish

  6. nbc says:

I received an email reportedly from Obama Crimes (Berg) indicating they were having trouble with their blog host and would have short term interruptions.

If there is nothing to hide, then why all the harassment?

Orly calls it harassment, facts suggest its ignorance.

  7. nbc says:

Without any further evidence you jump to the conclusion of harassment? Flame thrower perhaps but nothing to suggest skepticism or rational thought.

  8. Here’s what ObamaCrimes said:

We had a person who was to build a new main web page. Unfortunately we found that our site was being taken apart and was also trying to take away the domain names as well. this [sic] is why you became redirected. Currently we are rebuilding the website and the old front page may be coming back until another is developed

This sounds remarkably familiar to the foul ups with Orly Taitz’s web site. Does it seem to you that birthers have problems trusting the wrong people?

I hope ObamaCrimes gets their web site fixed. The old one was a train wreck.

  9. Adrianinflorida says:

You’re entirely correct about the harrasment, FlameThrower. I don’t know why there is so much harrassment of our legally elected, natural born President. Taitz, et al need to put up or shut up. The president showed his BC, that’s more than any previous president has been forced to do.

  10. misha says:

“The president showed his BC, that’s more than any previous president has been forced to do.”

Black men ALWAYS have to show more identification. It’s gone from ‘Where’d you get this car, boy’ to ‘Where’d you get this house, boy.’

His father was from Kenya, and he wants to be president. Who does he think he is? He should know better. We’ll show him.

  11. jtx says:

    nbc:

Comprehend, yourself, my man! All of you Obamafunctories on this site completely miss the fact that the BC (or COLB) is not the issue at all.

The issus is the man’s elgibility under the Constitution to hold the office he now occupies – and he’s never shown that he IS eligible though he has claimed that.

This will all come out in court at some point don’t you think???

  12. jtx says:

    Dr. Conspiracy:

A lot like this site you mean, eh?

  13. jtx says:

    Adrianinflorida:

You’ve completelyu missed the point that it is not the man’s BC, but his eligibility that is in doubt.

If he can show he’s eligible, fine. If not …

  14. jtx says:

    misha:

Careful! You’re getting dangerously close to the truth. His BC has very little to do with his eligibility.

He told everyone that daddy was Kenyan (never a US citizen) and was governed by the British Nationality Act of 1948 and I – the Great One – was also governed by that same act. read that over a couple of times and see if you can understand what it means.

  15. richCares says:

“the British Nationality Act of 1948”

please explain how this act can determine what US laws are on this topic, I would think nothing at all! You are beating a dead horse, really dead horse. No foreign law can do that that. Now once more jtx, beat that dead horse, you are learning impaired!

  16. kimba says:

Tell us what law requires Pres Obama to show he’s eligible.

  17. BlackLion says:

No..We know you visit Orly’s site…her site is so bad…Does anyone think that she will ever figure out how to use cut and paste? She is so technically challenged that I would be afraid of her operating on a corpse…Dr C’s site is not even in the league of that trainwreck…

  18. Catbit says:

jtx – so by your explanation, The U.K. could pass a new law declaring all U.S. citizens to now be British subjects and force us to pay taxes to the crown, overruling the U.S Constitution? Or does your scenario only apply to little black babies born in Hawaii?

  19. Bob says:

he’s never shown that he IS eligible

What law requires Obama to demonstrate eligiblity?

This will all come out in court at some point don’t you think???

Given the track record of the birfer suits, nope.

  20. jtx is inconsistent. He prattles on and on quoting Obama on the BNA 1948 as if Obama was an authority, and then turns around and rejects the assertion made at the same time that Obama is eligible to be president. You can’t pick and choose your evidence. Actually neither of them is evidence. JTX never really has any evidence. He is a broken record.

  21. misha says:

Can you imagine her as a dentist? Marathon Man.

  22. misha says:

“Or does your scenario only apply to little black babies born in Hawaii?”

What is this crowd going to do when Corey Booker announces?

  23. Greg says:

At the time, and, in fact, since the American Revolution, Britain considered children born in the United States to its subjects to be both British and US citizens. From John Reeves, Esq., author of “The History of the English Law” (1810):

Of the dual citizenship of children born to British subjects: “this is not a novelty, nor is it peculiar to Americans. It may happen to any British subject, and it is allowable in our law, which recognizes this double character of a person, being as was before shown, ad fidem utrusque regis. Do not British subjects become citizens of the United States? Some persons are born to such double character; children and grand-children, born of British parents in foreign countries; are British born subjects, yet these, no doubt, by the laws of the respective foreign countries, are also deemed natural born subjects there.”

So, since the UK considered him a US Citizen from birth, I’m sure you’ll drop all of these silly claims, right?

  24. misha says:

“From John Reeves, Esq., author of “The History of the English Law” (1810)”

Excuse me – I am not easily fooled. An Obama confederate posted that on the Net, probably by the same people who rigged WTC 7 with explosives.

    Wake up!

  25. misha says:

“Tell us what law requires Pres Obama to show he’s eligible.”

Give Orly time; she’ll find something.

  26. Black Lion says:

To be honest the best thing that ever happened was Lou Dobbs and Rush Limbaugh mentioning the birthers and making the entire BC issue mainstream. For months the brithers would claim that the mainstream media was either controlled by or afraid of President Obama. So they would not report the story. But since they have rather than the so called demand for the President’s BC intensify, the actual result of this media blitz has been that the birthers have been ridiculed and been made the butt of a lot of jokes. The through debunking by all of the major media outlets has been swift and through. Not even FOX is really addressing the issue. Hannity, Beck, O’Reilly have not said a word. Only Dobbs has, and he has been eviserated by both other talk show hosts as well as other conservatives. Limbaugh won’t even mention it on his show anymore. This movement will have its 15 minutes, and 13 of them are already up.

Some interesting quotes from an article addressing this issue….

“But there was some good news last week, and it came from watching Dobbs’ slow motion train wreck unfold on the airwaves. It came from seeing how eagerly — how convincingly — the birther claims were debunked, not only online by progressives, but within the mainstream press as well — the same mainstream press that’s often reluctant to show up high-profile media players such as Dobbs, no matter how badly it has botched the facts. And let’s not forget conservatives, who dismissed and ridiculed the birther claims.”

“Limbaugh’s scared to talk about the birthers and won’t defend them because he has seen how Dobbs and the movement got manhandled by the press — including by conservative commentators. In fact, Limbaugh himself took some friendly fire from Philip Klein at the far-right American Spectator who, under the headline, “Shame on Rush,” announced: “To any sane human being, there is no controversy.”

“Limbaugh saw how the press was sticking to the birth certificate facts and wasn’t shy about knocking down high-paid radio hosts who tried to traffic in that nonsense.”
