Orly launches Senate campaign–says it’s really nothing

Birther queen Orly Taitz, DDS, Esq. has launched her campaign for the US Senate by filing FEC Form 2 [link to image on Orly Taitz web site]. Taitz has declared herself a Republican. Taitz’s political debut was in 2009 when she ran unsuccessfully for the Republican nomination for California Secretary of State. Insiders consider her Senate bid a long shot.

In another article [link to Taitz web site] Taitz says that she’s refusing to take a case against Obama on behalf of John Dummett of Florida, who has filled out the same form to run for President. Taitz says this doesn’t grant him standing. She said:

From what I understand, Mr. Dummett simply filled out a one page form, saying that he has an intention to run for President. Most people do not know, that there are some 250-260 people, who simply  filled out this one page form and are considered candidates for President, however, it is really nothing.

In an unrelated story, we learn that Orly has been in Arizona to meet with the Maricopa County Sheriff, birther-friendly Joe Arpaio. She reports [link to Taitz web site]:

He repeatedly stated, that he will not shelf this issue and he will have an official report.

Orly Taitz is the gift that keeps on giving.

when will a judge order her to undergo psychiatric evaluation? She is obviously bat pupu insane!

The Sheriff actually gives this woman the time of day. Which tells you alot about the Sheriff!

From what I remember about her failed bid for Secretary of State, she showed her crazy very well. She claimed the primary was null and void because of the winner’s impropriety. She sued; wanted a judge to throw out the primary ( David Dugan?) winner and have it put to a vote to the citizens of California, even though it was impossible. I may have to revisit the transcripts. Comedic gold. Maybe she can give Daryn Moran a job with her campaign.

Maybe she isn’t crazy; with all those languages and occupations rolling around in her head, she just can’t catch common sense above the din.

Former NFL football player Damon Dunn. True story: he used to play for my Browns in the early years when we 1st got a new team “back” after Art Modell stole ours away to Baltimore. He also played in the XFL during the year it existed.

Oh, but she is not feenished. Her case was dismissed in May and she is appealing. Yes, she is appealing a decision from May, which was about the primary in June or July 2010 and the defendant lost badly in the general election anyway.

A read through the docket of the 4th Appellate is pure Orly. It is filled with threatened default for missed deadlines, no pos (proof of service) and requests for extensions and permission to augment.

When upon a new filing by Orly the Esq., thus raises from trees of the forest a great weeping, for now they see their days are numbered.

And of course it was pure coincidence that Damon Dunn is of a dusky hue……

Damn Bob…your last sentence was priceless!!!!!!!!!

This John Dummett character wanted Orly Taitz to be his lawyer? That disqualifies him for the presidency right there.

Never thought I’d see the day when you could find a lawyer less qualified and more stupid than Orly… but there he is.

This guy actually thinks he would have standing because a candidate is harmed by having otehr candidates on the ballot, making him less likely to win, whether those other candidates are actually on the ballot or not!

    Wow…. just, Wow….

  11. G says:

Yeah…when even Orly dismisses your case as frivolous and obviously lacking in standing…that really *says* something!

Although these lawyers at least write better and put forth a more professionally structured document, there underlying claims are utter crap.

First of all, as even “Head Researcher” just pointed out above in her latest article, their whole premise of NBC is based on a dishonest and intentionally deceptive referencing to the Minor v. Happersat case.

Second, their arguments for standing and injury are beyond weak and without merit. They may think that their whole creative “class action” shell game is clever, but it only comes across as flimsy and shady as all get out. They break their class into 2 types – anyone “theoretically” filing to run for President…and a second class of basically everyone else that can potentially vote, which just comes across as yet another tired old nothing but throw-spaghetti at the wall and hope something will stick grasping at straws here.

As to the second class…I mean really, it is not even worthy of discussion. If these idiots really went to law school or even have been merely paying attention as all the other Birther schlock junksuits went down in flames, they should have learned by now why neither standing nor injury can be claimed for such mere sore-loserish “hurt fee-fees” arguments…. I mean seriously, get a clue!

As to the first class, their whole argument is predicated on assuming that merely being on a ballot = getting votes and that if anyone else (such as Obama) appears on a ballot, he gets votes that would otherwise go to them if he weren’t there.

Sorry, but it simply doesn’t work that way and merely getting one’s name to appear on a ballot is neither an entitlement nor guarantee of receiving other people’s votes, period. You would think if they even took basic law school classes (or heck even merely watched any cheap legal drama or flick) that they would have been able to grasp the concept that you cannot sustain an argument based on mere conjecture alone…and that’s all they’ve got here. Lame just really lame.

It just boggles my mind that such excessively weak and pathetic attempts are put forth…and with such public smugness to boot! I think it must be part of the “entitlement” mentality complex that causes otherwise functioning people in society to make such poor compartmentalized judgements in which their emotional desires override any rational sense or basic comprehension and logic skills when those emotional “hot button” topics for them are pushed. I mean really, how can they present this stuff to anyone with a straight face and not grasp that they come across as a total idiot?

    Unbelievable!

    For once, she’s right.

I’ll say it again – I got myself arrested at a Soviet embassy demonstration for the likes of her and Lieberman. Along with all those Soviet immigrants, Israel got the Russian mob.

Maybe I need my head examined, too.

Single issues candidates can be successful, but those who are obsessed about a conspiracy theory is seeking disaster.

My guess is that it’s nothing more than another sleazy, attention begging birther scam based on greed to pump gullible bigots.

Some people think that’s the American Dream.

  15. Keith says:

misha: Maybe I need my head examined, too.

Nah. If freedom is worth defending it is worth defending for the idiots as well as the wise.

It shouldn’t worry you that you helped empower a minority to abuse their privilege; It is the way it has always been and always will be.

Be proud of the sane majority that you helped enabled to reach fulfillment.

  16. A video clip of Orly in Arizona has been added to the article.

That’s true. The Israeli Olympic figure skating team are all from Russia, as were my ancestors.

  18. Jules says:

If Taitz wants to be a candidate, then she could well face all sorts of birther-type allegations as follows:

I deny that Taitz has an authentic FEC Form 2. Alternatively, I deny that the form on her web site is anything but a forgery. All we have seen is a scan of the form on the Internet. Why has Taitz not allowed me to inspect the original? What’s she hiding?

Also, I am told that Taitz renounced her US citizenship at the US Embassy in Tel Aviv when she last visited Israel. Why won’t she show her records to prove the truth of what happened if this is not the case?

Orly Taitz has never denied being a street walker in Moldova, nor has she ever explained her Romanian connection.

There are no available records of her incarceration in a Federal Penitentiary on Racketeering convictions. Obviously Google has scrubbed any mention of her conviction. The removal of those references points to a deep conspiracy by a corrupt legal system and complicit Liberal Internet corporations.
