Disaster relief

HurricaneSandraAs Hurricane Sandy pummels the eastern United States, one might consider a donation to the American Red Cross.

One apparent victim of the hurricane is the Orly Taitz web site, which is hosted in the eye of the storm, and has been down all day. Without her web site Taitz is unable to communicate with the participants in her lawsuits, and to carry on her legal practice.

Obama Conspiracy Theories, reaching across the aisle in a gesture of compassion, is republishing this from Orly Taitz, knowing that some of her followers read this site too.

My web site is down
The e-mail address of my expert, Mr. Paul Irey, was hacked and is being used to send stupid advertisement.
The regime might be afraid that Judge Reid will rule against them today or tomorrow
I need other people’s web site to communicate with my supporters, please post.
1. I need to reach Charles Woods, father of slain officer Tyrone Woods
2. There are 10 people from swing states, who wrote to me that they want to join my multi state case, I need to reestablish contact with them. these people are from NV, OH, MI, WI, IA, PA, FL
Please, advertise on your web sites that they can reach me by phone 949-683-5411 and write tot (sic) orly.taitz@gmail.com
3. I have a hearing today in CA state court on Obama challenge and refiling the Fed. case
4. Judge Reid’s ruling is expected today

I applaud your humanitarian effort, during this time of peril, in keeping the supply lines open to America’s crucial storehouse of bat-guano crazy.

That small picture on this thread is priceless.

  3. I thought the Algerian font was a nice touch.

  4. US Citizen says:

Finally Orly can show damages, but doesn’t have someone to sue.

  5. Bob says:

According to some Wingnuts on WND, you can add “seeding clouds to create hurricanes at will” to Obama’s list of accomplishments. I think Alex Jones is promoting the idea.

  6. RuhRoh says:

While I appreciate Doc’s sense of humor, please believe me that Sandy is utterly devastating everything from Maryland to Maine. The suggestion to donate was very kind and these donations are needed.

I can’t even locate some relatives who live on a barrier island that has been under water since 10AM. 🙁

  7. Andrew Vrba, PmG says:

You really gotta appreciate the subtle nuances like the font.

  8. Taitz’ host is not down. It’s just the database WordPress uses. You can retrieve non-database documents from her site, such as:

    http://www.orlytaitzesq.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/Taitz-Walters-v-Sec-of-State-KS-final.pdf

I wonder if she did get hacked. It would only take changing a single character in her wp-config.php file to create the database error we’re seeing. That “advertisement” she says is infecting Paul Irey’s emails has been identified as malware. If Orly caught, it could be logging keystrokes.

Her web host is Network Solutions in Herndon, Virginia. I found one outage thread on their forums for today, but it was fixed a long time ago. They don’t seem to have a neat status reporting page like my host does, and you have to weed through the support forum. In any case, I don’t see an outage notification I can tie to Orly’s site.

I suppose she wouldn’t be so careless as to use “h8obama” for her password.

  9. I hope everything is all right with your relatives. I sent the ARC a donation myself.

RuhRoh: The suggestion to donate was very kind and these donations are needed.

  10. Bayou Belle says:

My prayers go out to all those who are affected by this storm. Except Orly’s Yahoo.

I hope so too. I just don’t know at this point. They haven’t called and calls to them have not been returned. Best case scenario: they are trapped under a few feet of water and on the second floor, their cars are gone, their house is not inhabitable. It became impossible to leave the island by noon, and he said he was staying no matter what because Irene “was nothing but an inconvenience”. They refused to evacuate, and by the time they realized they should have, it might have been impossible. They’re in their 70’s. 🙁

Even the BEST case scenario leaves them homeless for months at least. IF they eventually evacuated, which I highly doubt they did. I can’t even contemplate the worst scenario.

I am not a praying sort, though was raised Catholic. I went to Mass today. 🙁

Dr. Conspiracy: I wonder if she did get hacked. It would only take changing a single character in her wp-config.php file to create the database error we’re seeing.

I would expect an actual hacker to either

    (a) deface the site (i.e. replace its contents with mocking or insulting notes)

    (b) redirect somewhere else (like an infected website)

    (c) infect the site with malware (happened to my blog once, my logs showed it was a real person doing it and not a virus)

    (d) delete all files

but not just mess up the database connection.

The only possible scenario for this to be a hacking attempt would be if the hacker had abused her resources (e.g. for sending out spam or abusing the database for his own purposes) and the provider locked her database account.

  15. clestes says:

Orly is so hopelessly inept in everything she does, from court cases to running a website and paranoid like hell to boot that I imagine this is just a screwup is a result from the storm and not a hacker at all.

Of course Judge Reid dismissing the case will be another reason for her spout paranoid views instead of the expected result like the other 140 plus court cases.

  16. FIFY

clestes: Of course Judge Reid dismissing the case will be another reason for her spout paranoid views instead of the expected result like the other 140 166 plus court cases.

  17. That proves my point. If the Obama thugs were going to hack Orly’s site, they wouldn’t want it to look like hacking, but rather just do something to keep the site down that was hard to find and fix. The fact that this doesn’t look like hacking proves it must be hacking.

    Didn’t you watch the film?

  18. Orly’s web site is back up.

  19. Orly must have been blowing leaves (unlikely) to prompt this new comment on her blog:

No Responses to “I received from Obama’s people a mug with Obama’s birth certificate and words “made in USA”. thank you very much, it will be perfect as a chamber pot (night potty) :-)”

I don’t even want to think about that. I responded with this comment in moderation:

    She’s not uncultured; she’s crude.

  21. Andrew Vrba, PmG says:

I left a comment along the lines of, “We all know that’s a lie. You have to go potty outside! You see, it’s funny, because you’re a bitch!”

I felt the need to explain the joke, because it is sure to go waaaaaaaaaaay over her head.

  22. RuhRoh says:

Doc, I hope that your son came through Sandy safe and sound. We finally heard from my uncle last night and he and his wife are OK. We were very lucky.

Thanks folks for your thoughts and support! Things are bad around us all, but everyone in my family sees to have come through safely.

  23. I thought “crude” was how the word was used in Russian.

misha marinsky: She’s not uncultured; she’s crude.
