The strange tale of Michelle, Karen, Orly and the “honey trap”

I guess “Obama” conspiracy theories can refer to Michelle Obama as well as to Barack. H/t to Orly Taitz for the lead.

Karen Hudes

Video captured photo of Karen HudesBeyond both being women and attorneys (and perhaps Jewish), Orly Taitz and Karen Hudes (rhymes with “huge”) pictured right would on the surface seem to have little in common–Taitz graduated from an on-line law school, but Hudes got her degree from Yale, and Taitz has never made a living as an attorney but Hudes was on the legal team at the World Bank for 20 years; nevertheless, Taitz highlights Hudes’ story on her web site [link to Taitz web site]. Under the surface there are also things in common–the first involves a story about an Obama and the others we will get to presently. But first…

The Great Conspiracy

On November 27, Hudes in an interview with Forerunner Chronicles, alleged all sorts wrongdoing involving the World Bank, including a startling tale (and what follows is the tip of the iceberg) of something that makes me think of Christopher-Earl: Strunk—that your federal income tax payments are sent directly to the Federal Reserve who sends them to England where the “banksters” keep 40% and send the remaining 60% to the Jesuits in the Vatican. (Hudes says this arrangement comes out of a deal between England and the Vatican from the year 1200 to borrow money to finance a war and secret war reparations from the US to England over the War of 1812, compound interest being what it is.) One might ask exactly how the US government is funded if not through taxes, but Hudes explains that the US government funds itself through drug trafficking. (That’s a lot of drugs.)

And if that is true, one wonders why someone like, say, President Obama, doesn’t raise an objection. Is it because of fear? According to Hudes, resisting this arrangement with the Jesuits got Abraham Lincoln killed (yes, Virginia, JFK too), but no, it is fear of another kind that supposedly keeps Obama at bay, as we shall see.

The Honey Trap

In spy lore, a “honey trap” is a technique using sex to get information or to compromise someone. Unfortunately, according to Hudes, Obama is in no position to resist the Federal Reserve/Vatican conspiracy because his wife is being blackmailed–

…because she has fallen for some, what they call “honey traps” in a hotel with two-way mirrors. She has been compromised. … And there are other things involving him. His mother was a CIA agent, and he was raised,  he was raised in a way that made him a person who would trap people with “honey traps.” That was his job.

(Orly Taitz of course wants to know if the honey traps were with men or women, and whether Barack Obama was compromised by honey traps too, and whether with men or women.) If anything need be said here, I would just note that Hudes is not in a position to know what she claims to know and leave it at that.

Hudes’ Legal Battles

Listening to the Hudes interview, I cannot avoid the impression that she is a little crazy about conspiracies, and that leads me to the comparison with Taitz; however, a much stronger impression of similarity comes out of some pro se litigation that Hudes brought against the World Bank, her former employer.

Federal District Judge James E. Boasberg of Maryland dismissed her lawsuit (Hudes v. Aetna Life Ins. Co. et al.) for defamation and wrongful termination, for failure to state a claim (the Court described her second amended complaint as “a welter of claims under myriad federal statutes’). It is difficult to precisely characterize the lawsuit because the complaint is somewhat vague, a problem that the judge cites as one of the reasons for dismissing her third attempt at getting it right. (There was also at least one prior lawsuit over the same general issues.)

In the broadest terms, Hudes alleges that she reported misconduct at the World Bank, and was fired, styling herself a “whistle blower.” She brought the issue to the auditors (KPMG), and as a result some medical records were allegedly obtained in violation of various statutes, and the disclosure of these resulted in her being defamed and her professional reputation and career damaged. (The nature of the medical records allegedly obtained from her insurance company, Aetna, is not alleged but one cannot help but speculate that they are in some way related to the conspiracy theories already discussed above.)

The judge had significant problems because Hudes never alleges exactly what defamatory statement was made, when and to whom. She gives no timeline of events, but the judge, as best he could determine, found that they happened before the laws upon which she bases some of her cause of action cites were passed. The World Bank, as an international organization, is by law exempt by statute from lawsuits unless it waives that exemption. And finally, HIPAA provides no private cause of action. The “money quote” that I thought about making my own Quote of the Day is the highlighted bit of this following section from the dismissal that deals with the leeway courts grant to pro se plaintiffs in accepting poorly-formed pleadings:

Nor is this the type of circumstance where a typical pro se Plaintiff falls short of certain technical pleading standards. Although Plaintiff brings this case pro se, she has stated in previous pleadings filed in this case that she is a lawyer with a degree from Yale Law School, Am. Compl., ¶ 12, and twenty years of experience in the Legal Department at the World Bank. Sec. Am. Compl., ¶ 11. The Court therefore finds she is not entitled to the relaxed pleading standards generally afforded pro se plaintiffs. See Ning Ye v. Holder, 644 F.Supp.2d 112, 116 (D.D.C. 2009) ("plaintiff is a practicing attorney so there is no reason to afford him the latitude ordinarily accorded to the typical pro se plaintiff").

The dismissal was affirmed on appeal, and so concludes our foray into the wider world of conspiracy theories.

Actually she reminds me of the late, great Sherm Skolnick of Chicago. Now he knew how to conjure up a conspiracy! He used to visit the old CompuServe Journalism Forum to post his latest discoveries. He passed away in 2006.

Orly and Hudes make for a lovely couple where both appear to be unconstrained by logic, reason and facts in their outrageous claims.

Wow, Doc Claus has been busy! A day-after-Christmas present … in the form of a novel.

Again, many thanks for trekking throught and illuminating the sewers. This level of crazy makes my eyes glaze and head spin.

Man, those Jesuits are getting around. Running the mafia, Opus Dei, and the New Agers? They’re all things to all people!

  11. Vince Treacy says:

One small problem with this is that the Jesuits did not exist in 1200. They were not formed until after the Reformation as a religious order organized on a military basis to fight the Lutherans and other Protestants.

“Hudes says this arrangement comes out of a deal between England and the Jesuits from the year 1200….”

  12. Slartibartfast says:

    *sigh*

Vince, I’m surprised that you of all people would ignore the obvious explanation: The Jesuits came into possession of a TARDIS and traveled back to the 1200s to enact their fiendish plots.

  13. I have listened to the audio again, and updated the article, replacing “Jesuits” with “Vatican.” Elsewhere she says that the money which ostensibly is going to repay this “Vatican” loan is paid to the Jesuits and the Vatican.

There are more comments here about the story than there are on Mr. Powell’s website. Wow!

  20. Lupin says:

It is a little known fact that the inspiration of the infamous PROTOCOLS OF THE ELDERS OF ZION came at the very start from Eugene Sue’s novel LES MYSTERES DU PEUPLE which described in a very similar terms to those employed in the PROTOCOLS a world-wide conspiracy led not by the Jews but by the Jesuits. It is the later plagiarists who replaced the Jesuits with the Jews.

Thanks to the ill-informed, hodgey podgey DA VINCI CODE the Jesuits seem to have a made a return on the world conspiracy scene. Plus ça change…

  21. Bob says:

Yes Orly, hitch your wagon to that star.

  22. Paper says:

Plus, Pope Francis being a Jesuit.

Gotta keep the conspiracy timely. Whatever’s happening now, take that, and run it backwards through time, connect the dots, and voila, a soufflé of conspiracy. Now, just don’t slam any doors while the lovely conspiracy is in the oven…
