  1. Today I added Hamblin v Obama/McCain to the docket. Mr. Hamblin is suing in the Arizona District Court for mental distress because two candidates in the last presidential election were not natural born citizens. While filed on April 1, the suit appears serious, at least in intent.

    The suit against John McCain relies on the fake birth certificate that shows McCain born in the Republic of Panama.

    The suit against Obama is based on his dual citizenship at birth, as interpreted by Emer de Vattel’s the Law of Nations, which Hamblin says forms the basis of the US Constitution and is included in the Constitution by reference (in the phrase “the law of nations”[sic]). His point would have been a little more effective if he had retained the capitalization in the original Constitution, “Law of Nations” that makes it at least “look” like it might be a reference.
