Photoshopped again (new and improved)

WorldNetDaily beat me to the punch by about 5 months, but what the heck…

Have you seen the sign on the left floating around the Internet? This is apparently old news, but I have been running across the image lately on birther web sites.

Are the birthers making up stuff again? Perhaps not.

Consider the following detail from the sign, the words under Kenya:

Now, exchange the letters left to right:

That’s Arabic for “Hawaii.”

Photoshopped Punked again.

I have, and I’ve often wondered what the arabic on the photoshopped version says. It would be amusing if it was a comment on the gullibility of wingnuts.

  2. richCares says:

Kenya uses Swahili and English on their signs, the arabic in this phony sign would never be in Kenya. Some of the arabic translates to “Hawaii” so yes it was directed at the easily swayed birther as a joke.

  3. racosta says:

Yes it was a spoof to make fun of birthers and it succeeded!
the word under “Kenya” translates to “Hawaii”
the message at the bottom of the sign translates to “Not the birthplace of Barack Obama”

  4. Jules says:

Of course, Kenya can honestly boast about being the birthplace of Barack Obama. The problem is that most people only care about his son of the same name.

Do the UAE and Oman have a Schengen-style arrangement? I am surprised not to see some kind of border control in the photo.

    It is.

  6. BatGuano says:

oof. “Kenya” is in the Mistral font/type face………. very topical if we were swapping Kajagoogoo for Ultravox picture vinyl .

  7. Dave says:

Wait a minute. You used Google translate as the basis for your claim that the arabic translates to “Hawaii”. But, as Taitz has pointed out:

There is no malaware sitting on my site, but George Soros’s son is sitting on Google board. He should look up the meaning of the word treason

So, well, there you have it.

I remember when this showed up on the Independent last year…I spent about half an hour looking up what it actually said, and stopped when I realized that it said “Hawaii.” Clearly a joke, but you should have seen good old NC1/Naturalizedcitizen natter on about it!

Naturalizecitizen doesn’t care about the facts and never has. That even goes for the law.

Looks like my little troll hit job regarding my posts linking Fitzpatrick /Darren huff to the GOP commisioner murder is being talked about all over birtherstan. They are certainly up in arms about it … The thing is — You OBOTS don’t like my tactics; I’m just trying to give them a taste of their own medicine. They blame obama and company for everything hey can with no evidence to back it up … Funny thing is, you obots defended the birthers — using logic to conclude Walter or Darren probably didn’t have anything to do with the murder…. Would they ever use logic or reason to defend you? Hell no…

I’m just a lone provocateur troll. (I do have a slight bit of hate for those lying weasel conservatives. San fransisco queer type liberals don’t sit too well with me either.)

    Lupin,

You’ll be happier, healthier, and wiser if you avoid engaging with a self-descrbed troll.

This is especially true when the troll’s comments are incoherent at best.

A troll beta-test. It is just a repeat of a previous post. Wouldn’t it be better described as being spam.
