Two for WikiLeaks

I guess everyone here has heard of the tens of thousands of classified military documents obtained by WikiLeaks.org. Nothing, it seems is immune from the Obama denialist discussion, as the ABC News Blog talking about the President’s reaction to the leaks included this added comment:

Quo Warranto: If WikiLeaks were half the force they think they are… they would have a long-form copy of the Birth Certificate on their web site…

The second thing is the following interview with Julian Assange,  the founder of WikiLeaks.org. This is not an endorsement of  WikiLeaks.

Dr. C, Thanks for showing this video. I’ve learned something awesome from it and that is … “Do not create victims. Nurture victims by policing perpetrators”

A lot that stuff is pretty mundane records of standard wartime SNAFU. Some is very embarassing commentary on the conduct of the war.

But some is gonna get people killed – and that is the stuff I’m worried about .

So the “constitution bashers” gonna be all over this, for sure. The question is, will hey be calling the leaker out for treason, or will they twist it into an attack on Obama?

Ok. That is a silly question. Everyone who reads the Constitution knows that treason is withholding a personal copy of the 8mm film of your birth on the beach at Waikiki (like any self respecting beatnik mother would do) from 200 million inividuals and not giving direct aid and comfort to the enemy leading directly to deaths to American soldiers and their allies.
