King Kongmartin v Obamazilla

Self-styled “Internet Powerhouse” and “King of the Birthers” Andy Martin, in the latest installment of his self-generated promotional publicity, has come out with what may the first presidential election ad of the 2012 campaign season. The ad is playing in New Hampshire and started yesterday according to the New Hampshire Journal.

“Now all we need is the money to saturate the air waves,” says Martin.

The ad, which you can watched below, waves the flag and quotes Jerome Corsi in asking “where’s the birth certificate?”

It’s in Hawaii, you dork.

    Good answer.

ORYR has an interesting post, which is unusual for him: The Truth Matters: Is Andy Martin a “natural born Citizen” of the United States to Constitutional Standards: Andy Martin Responds…
The post says that “the obot blog” posted the allegation that, at the time Andy Martin was born, his father was not a US citizen. (What is “the obot blog”? Does he mean this blog?) So, he emails Martin and asks. And Martin gives a non-response. ORYR then writes back and asks for a response instead of a non-response, and Martin says he’s not going to say more.
The post ends: “Now, don’t shoot the messenger!”
Looks like Martin has failed to slip his BS past ORYR.

He can’t be president. He has a felony conviction, and is a vicious anti-semite.

As if guano psychotic wasn’t enough.

WE know that and HE knows that, but his money-donating audience doesn’t know that.
We’re simply watching the conman at work.
    Nothing new in birtherdom.
He’ll take his money, never make the ballot and voila… his rent is paid a little while longer.

He can’t be president. He has a felony conviction, and is a vicious anti-semite.

No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.

That’s it. No mention of felonies or other crimes. No mention of anti-Semitism. Those are the only rules, and if you think about it, the Founders were geniuses in making those the only rules.

Nothing in Article 2, Clause 5 can be put under the control of anyone other than the candidate (or his parents). For example – if felonies were disqualifiers, you’d see candidates convicted of felonies in absentia to keep them off the ballot.

As for anti-Semites, we’ve (sadly) certainly elected at least one, Richard Nixon.

  7. Lupin says:

I love this man. It’s like that movie TRADING PLACES. It proves that you can take a dirty smelly mildly psychotic guy muttering to himself and handing out greasy leaflets outside the subway, give him a shower, put him into a fresh suit, comb his hair, and some people will actually listen to him and give him money.

Is this a new American experiment in social rehabilitation?

  8. Observer says:

Martin may possibly have a foreign-born father who had not yet been naturalized at the time of his birth.

It seem that he won’t talk about it or answer questions until Obama answers his questions.

He may likely be disqualified under the birthers own made-up, neo-Vattel, two-citizen parent requirement.

Martin should accumulate a landslide vote of about 0.0001 % of the electorate.

If he gets his own vote, and that may be in doubt.

    Ha.

    Ha.

    Ha!

  9. Northland10 says:

He’s running for President, again, because his various senate and governor primary runs here have been SO successful. Oh wait, never mind.

point made, but you are being far far too charitable …

    132,618,580 voters cast their ballots in 2008. 132,618,580 x 0.0001 = 13,261.

i’m reminded of the dismissal order in keyes v obama, wherein judge carter observed of alan keyes’ constituency: “the court may have already met this entire group of voters at the hearings on this matter. “

  11. Dave: (What is “the obot blog”? Does he mean this blog?)

I haven’t written anything about Andy Martin’s father.

  12. Dave says:

I think I’ve identified which blog is “the obot blog.” Appears to be barackryphal, and ORYR is quoting the article Andy Martin is not a Natural Born Citizen!? which was published last May.

He said 0.0001%, so you would have to multiply the number by 0.000001, giving you 133 voters (rounding). That still may be a bit charitable, though.

good catch! and you’re right: even 133 is still 133 more people than showed up for his 2009 national conference.

Your Republican party died with Nelson Rockefeller. I’m sorry.

As a New Yorker, I’m sorry too.

If McCain had chosen Olympia Snowe, he would now be president. It’s a shame what has happened.

Palin, who soooo loves Israel, could not find it on an unmarked map. I might add Palin is an anti-semite. She hates Arabs – that’s an anti-semite, too. Just like Ann Coulter.

  18. Thrifty says:

It’s nice that crazy people can look properly groomed and clean, just like non-crazy people.

  19. Dave says:

Now Martin is getting trashed at the Post and Email: Is Andy Martin a Natural Born Citizen?.
If a birther Presidential candidate can’t get any love at the Post and Email, it’s time to hang it up.
