WND claims Amazon.com sabotaging WTBC? sales

This is funny. Some joker published his own book titled: Where’s the Birth Certificate? My Diary that Barack Obama is not Eligible to be President and you could get it on Amazon.com for $12.95 (now out of print). The “book” is just a 100-page lined blank book where the purchaser is supposed to write his own investigation into Obama’s eligibility.

It’s an obvious rip-off of Corsi’s book, and WorldNetDaily blames Amazon.com for an attempt to divert sales away from the real Corsi book, to this fake. When you search for Corsi’s book on Amazon, the fake is listed second after the real WTBC?, although it is now marked as “out of print, limited availability” and has no price listed. Listed third is Jack Cashill’s Deconstructing Obama.  The publisher, according to Amazon is CreateSpace, a self-publishing enterprise, and an Amazon.com company.

The author is one Skylar Blue (alias?) who describes himself on the jacket as:

The book had an auspicious publication date of April 27, 2011, the date Barack Obama released his long form birth certificate. “Birther movement from its infancy” — do you think a pun was intended  here? 👿

the “W” in WND stands for Whine!

  2. Obsolete says:

It is astounding how many reviewers at Amazon are claiming that Obama, Amazon, and Soros are behind this. Theories that Soros bribed Amazon, Obama threatened Amazon, etc. They never consider that Amazon could simply not carry Corsi’s book if they didn’t want people to buy it, or that anyone can self-publish through Amazon’s program.
Once again, elaborate conspiracies are more likely than simple explanations.

  3. AnotherBird says:

I don’t think birthers are silly enough to think that this book is that same as Corsi’s. WND is getting hot under the collar about nothing. Or, do they believe that a book filled with lined pages will end the entire birther movement.

  4. ASK Esq says:

What probably has them most upset is that the blank book has as many facts in it as Corsi’s.

Personally, I prefer “Whining Neanderthal Dirtbags.”

That has been corrected. The correct photo of Corsi’s investigator is now on-line.
