Fiction

I got into some hot water a while back about a fictional story, not so labeled. I’ve decided what I’m going to do about that.

Articles on the site are labeled in two ways. There are “categories” and “tags.” Categories appear at the head of the article; this one is labeled “Lounge.” You can read all articles in a category by clicking on the right sidebar under the section titled CONSPIRACIES. In the past I sometimes used the category “Wild and Wacky” for satirical articles, but I’m going to stop doing that. Wild and Wacky will be reserved for things I find that fit that description – the outrageous things some folks do.

Fictional articles, including satire and spoofs, will receive the tag “fiction”. Tags appear at the bottom of the article with the intention of possibly fooling some of the people some of the time, but not in the end. For popular tags, you can again go to the right sidebar and click on TAGS to see a “tag cloud,” a list of oft-used tags.

CAUTION: Tags are not displayed when reading an article on the front page. You have to click on the article itself to see tags and comments.

I’m not sure I really believe this article, Doc….

You should put the Fiction tag on this post. It will be a great irony. I would never lie to you.

Plus it might show people why the tag exists.
