There is speculation that Birther Report, possibly the number 1 birther web site, is run by an English-born, Canadian raised, California resident named Gary Wilmott. I haven’t said much about him before, although he’s been busy in many birther activities such participating in a ballot challenge in California, attending court hearings (and calling Obots “assholes”), was one of the feature speakers at the canceled Birther Summit, and was a board member of the Article II Super PAC (an anti-Obama-eligibility political committee that raised about $34,000 in the last election cycle).
Now, Wilmott’s own blog Give Us Liberty 1776 announces that Birther Report content may be appearing there while BR is down for scrubbing. Gary’s blog also appears on Google’s free Blogger service. Can we all go “hmmm”?

In the few hours since this article was published, the commenting policy at Wilmott’s blog was changed so that only members of the blog can post there. Comments by Foggy left yesterday, suggesting that Wilmott runs BR, were scrubbed.

I am gradually coming to accept the idea that Wilmott is the owner of BR. If true I am not sure why he would continue to hide it. Kerchner pretty well confirmed as such the other night in Volin’s chat room. He used the name “Gary” as the owner of BR when he was defending him.

As a regular commenter over at birther report, I can vouch that the Soros machine has definitely taken the website down with the help of Obots.
Orly. You are going to have to be viligent in spreading the word of truth until they can get their website moved to new hosting. I will let everyone know through their Facebook site that they can come over her to read and comment.
Today, I found a website that reports these types of attacks on Patriots like ourselves. Tube Cam Girl is a Soetoro reporting website that spreads the truth to all.tubecamgirl.com
It is important that the word continue to be spread and these girls know how to spread it!
Reading his bio I note that he wanted to be a lawyer and got his JD in 2002 “and currently works for a family law firm in Los Angeles.” Hmmm.
The California Bar has no record of him so I assume he either never took the exam or, if he did, he failed. A LinkedIn profile has him working as a paralegal for a West LA firm.
Whoever runs it, it’s operated by a coward who doesn’t have the guts to publicly associate his own name with the reams of BS he publishes.
I don’t think BR is Gary. I don’t understand why anyone would.
And there’s no excuse of “If I publish who I am, Obama will come after me.” It’s pretty obvious that if the federal government wants to know who publishes a blog, they have sufficient resources to find out.
No, the only reason for him to continue to hide his identity is that he wants to keep it a secret from the general public.
I can understand someone not wanting to get their extreme political activity tangled up with their work. Even though I am proud of what I do, I still didn’t want any misunderstandings among potential customers before I retured. I understand Wilmott (if he turns out to the BR guy) is currently working for his family law firm in Los Angeles (I think as a paralegal).
Well, I’m not one who goes dumpster diving in Birther chat rooms, but the quick appearance of BR content at Wilmott’s blog is certainly one reason for suspicion. RC mentioned that Kerchner called him “Gary.” Foggy had some other reasons, but I don’t know if they are public or not. Comments by Foggy at Wilmott’s blog yesterday suggesting that Wilmott was the one behind BR were scrubbed. The site policy was changed overnight to require site membership to leave a comment.
May be Gary Wilmott or any one else. Fact is – they are cowards. Not for “hiding”, that is something a lot of bloggers do for several reasons. No, a coward because he / she allows only comments that align with their view.
I praise me some brave scotsman like Mr. Sibley (crazy as he is).
It could be Gary W. or it could be Richard G. in Eugene, Oregon. Then again it could be George Miller. They all are connected at the hip and share a history with Taitz and Commander K. Hmmmm, could it be…..a conspiracy?
It is wonderful to have that site down. It’s like a breath of fresh air. Maybe the EPA wanted to rid the Internet of some pollution. Well done!

I think #Birther Gary is just a BR superfan who seemingly ran BR for like 10 days a few years back when BR went on vaca. I understand they both exhibit heavy-handed blog tactics, but then so do most birthers.
It doesn’t really matter who BR is. He (or she) is still a nobody, like most birthers. Come to think of it, I’m a nobody too. Matter of fact we are all nobodies here – birthers and anti-birthers.
My interest in birtherism is pure entertainment, although there are certainly lessons about human behavior to be learned from observing the nonsense factory in action.
I wonder if his colleagues / bosses at a certain LA law firm with a lot of Jewish partners know about Mr. Willmot’s hobby playing the head of the KKK LA section ?
I think the word “coward” sums up BR’s owner quite well.
The one thing he fears the most, is people knowing who he is.
