Walter Fitzpatrick Legal Defense Fund

http://fitzpatrickldf.org/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/waltfitz.jpgSo I know many of you have been asking what you can do personally to help Walter Fitzpatrick in the wake of his recent arrest on felony charges in McMinn County Tennessee. I understand that his bail has been reduced from $50,000 to $20,000, but that’s still a big chuck of change, and then there are the attorney’s fees to Van R. Irion.

Fret no longer. There is a PayPal button made just for you at the LCDR Fitzpatrick Legal Defense Fund web site. You can also donate by check to:

Fitzpatrick Legal Defense Fund
c/o Law Office of Van R. Irion
800 S. Gay St., Suite 700
Knoxville, TN 37929

Donations sent directly to Obama Conspiracy Theories will be put on my MySonic card and used to buy Tater Tots®, none of which will be offered to Mr. Fitzpatrick. 😳

Update:

Fitzpatrick is reportedly out on bond.

Good on you, Doc! That disgrace to the uniform doesn’t deserve any sort of fried potato-y goodness!
As for me, I’ll have the fried mozzarella sticks! Guilty pleasure of mine.

Fact is I feel terrible about a old guy having so much trouble, no matter how much he caused it and deserves it.

But paying his legal fees sounds a little too much like co-dependency.

“Reliable Source: DA Files Motion to Revoke Fitzpatrick’s Bond in Monroe County

Posted By Sharon Rondeau On Tuesday, March 25, 2014 @ 11:53 AM In National
THE TENTH JUDICIAL DISTRICT STRIKES BACK
    by Sharon Rondeau

(Mar. 25, 2014) — 11:32 a.m. EDT – The Post & Email has just learned that a Tennessee Tenth Judicial District prosecutor has filed a motion to rescind the bond for Walter Francis Fitzpatrick, III stemming from a case arising from Monroe County grand jury selection documents in late 2011.

Fitzpatrick is currently jailed at the McMinn County Justice Center after the former grand jury foreman, Jeff Cunningham, and others leveled accusations last Tuesday for which the grand jury issued indictments.

The DA’s rationale is that Fitzpatrick’s latest arrest violates the terms of the bond issued by Monroe County. Both counties are part of the Tenth Judicial District, where corruption is deep and pervasive.

As a result of this latest action, donations to Fitzpatrick’s Legal Defense Fund are crucial at this time and can be made by Paypal or check.”

    Was it revoked?

  6. mimi says:

    Save your money, birthers.

If Van Irion is representing Walt pro bono, and Walt’s bond is revoked, why send it there?

I think Doc’s Tater Tots® fund is a much more worthwhile cause.

  7. Daniel says:

The sad part is that Fitzy is irrelevant even among birthers. If it wasn’t for his love affair with Post and Efail, nobody would know.

  8. nbc says:

Noone really is interested in bailing out Walt. He is not even going after President Obama anymore but rather is on a personal mission to prove himself wrong, time after time. Sharon and a few others may continue to take notice of the follies of our friend Walt, but I doubt that any of them has the will and/or means to bail Walt out.

Hey, I have given Walt much free publicity in my attempts to educate Walt and others on the flaws in his claims.

I have given them enough material that would have avoided the present situation. But they appear too stubborn.

  10. realist says:

nbc: He is not even going after President Obama anymore

    Not so fast there, nbc.

All the corruption in TN leads STRAIGHT back to that usurperin’ Obama. If he can just get to testify in front of ANY grand jury anywhere!! It will all be revealed.

    Thus Endeth the Lesson!!

  11. nbc says:

    realist: Thus Endeth the Lesson!!

The lesson endetheth with his first incarceration. He just never got the message…

Another JPotter-ism: The long arc of crazy is hellbent on self-destruction.

  13. Not entirely.

The header image of Fitzpatrick is missing and the jail bar page background is also missing in the 31-Dec-2013 archived version of the page (although they were present earlier). File paths for these two today suggest that these two images were re-uploaded this month. E. g. http://fitzpatrickldf.org/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/fldf_logo1400.png

In September of 2013, that file was present at this path:

    https://www.fitzpatrickldf.org/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/fldf_logo1400.png

So the site hasn’t exactly changed, but it was refurbished this month.

I like that caption about the recently-released prisoner naming his jailer as a “criminal.” I intend to use that next time I’m in the hoosegow.

Normally I wouldn’t believe anything from Sharon Rondeau, but I received an e-mail confirmation from VINE that he was bonded out.

  17. Keith says:

    Dr. Conspiracy:

The region of Patagonia is nice. I recommend it.

That’s the one in Southeast Arizona, of course. I haven’t been to the one in South America (yet). The town of Patagonia is OK

One of the things that makes the Arizona Patagonia region nice, is of course that its made up of Santa Cruz and Cochise counties, and Shurf Joe is far, far away in Maricopa county.

The town of Patagonia is OK as small Arizona towns go too – except that Mr. Wikipedia tells me that Dinesh D’Souza used to live there. Everybody has to come from someplace, I suppose.

It’s a sad, sad commentary on birthers when the only excitement they offer anti-birthers is the chance to start another pool on when they’ll screw up again.
