Birther meets government

There seems to be a small cluster of instances of birthers meeting with the government going on. One is Tom Arnold who reports his meeting with the FBI in Las Vegas where he presented them with a Sheriff’s Kit. The story is recounted at Gerbil Report™. Arnold (who says that he is a retired law enforcement officer) alleged that Obama stole someone’s social-security number, forged his own birth certificate, unlawfully back-dated his “draft card” and engaged in election fraud. Following the visit, Arnold (newly added as number 357 to the list of Birthers from A to Z) discloses the shocking result:

I never heard from anybody

Wow Tom, you’re lucky not to be in a FEMA camp after a stunt like that! And to further tempt fate, he called in the same stuff to the FBI in Virginia.

Orly Taitz has been spending some time with her “barf bag”1 recently, but inbetween retches was able to get out an article about “civil rights leader”2 Neil B. Turner’s upcoming attempt to present a letter to Darrell Issa at a “Citizen Lobby” visit with the congressman today. Turner says:

I will be presenting a Letter to Mr. Issa that will be included in an ‘information packet’ for him.

image(Please, oh please, let it be a Sheriff’s Kit.) Turner asks the Congressman Issa point blank in the letter why he voted to approve the Electoral College vote counts for “usurper” Obama. Was it because:

  1. a) You have been threatened with the loss of your life?, or
  2. b) You have been threatened with the loss of your loved ones’ lives?, or
  3. c) Something else?

Your personal response of A, B, or C is required.

Not “a, b, or c” or perhaps “1, 2 or 3”?

Turner has a history of writing up demands, such as this letter to the FBI from December of 2012, also sent to the US Attorney for the Southern District of California.

Meanwhile, Sharon Rondeau contacted the media representatives of Rep. Jim Jordan, Senator Mike Lee, and Rep. Louie Gohmert, to ask some rather pointed questions about the new administration policy regarding Cuba. In her lengthy article reprinted at Gerbil Report™, Rondeau talks mostly about Hitler and says in the letter, “Is Obama doing the same thing that Hitler did with the Reichstag in 1933?” While the letter is about Cuba relations and immigration, it closes with the obligatory:

Is it time to investigate Obama’s fraudulent credentials and find out who he really is and why he is taking the actions that he is?

Take heart, birthers, there will be more sunshine in the days to come.

Notes:

1The last time I needed a barf bag was crossing Lake Ladoga in a storm. Taitz is barfing over Obama as usual.

2As far as I was able to find, this is the only time Neil Turner was ever called a “civil rights leader.”

Rondeau talks mostly about Hitler and says in the letter, “Is Obama doing the same thing that Hitler did with the Reichstag in 1933?”

Why, is Obama burning down Cuba and blaming it on the Jews? Somehow Sharon’s musings are full of non sequiturs again.

  2. alg says:

little acts of infinitesimal desperation – intended to get written about in Birther Report in pursuit of one’s 15 minute allocation of semi-fame

  3. john says:

If birthers want to actually hand report a Sheriff’s Kit to an actual FBI agent, I know how they can do it. FBI is often present at numerous career fairs around the country. Often, at the career fair a real live FBI agent will be a representative for the FBI to talk to new potential recruits for the FBI. If a birther wants to personally hand a Sheriff’s Kit to an FBI agent, they may try this approach. However, they might get thrown out of the career fair if they are too harassing. Perhaps in doing this, they might want to have several people do the same thing. (No all at once though) I do remember going to a career fair a few years and an FBI agent was present there. I did briefly mention the Obama eligibility issue to the FBI agent but he had no comment and I quickly dropped it and we talked about opportunities for working with the FBI. Birthers are not very smart so you to give them so guidance or suggestion on how they might pursue the issue. Although an FBI agent at a career fair has no juristiction in the matter, you nevertheless have the opportunity to give a Sheriff’s Kit to an actual FBI agent.

  4. Greenfinches says:

john: Birthers are not very smart

excuse me, john, such humble self-awareness is a novelty……I need some time to adjust!!!

  5. john says:

Turner says he wants to present his stuff to Issa through his staff. This will go no where. Turner will have better luck if he presents his stuff to Issa himself. Turner may want to investigate on where Issa might be publically available in person and then present his to him at that event if he can get to Issa. Sending stuff through the staff is a lost cause. You have to present to the Congressman himself and even then good luck.

  6. john says:

Regarding the Sheriff’s Kits, I told birthers they need to take them and try to discretely heave ho numerous Sheriff Kits over the fence onto the White House lawn. They might also want to take numerous Sheriff’s Kits and place all over our nations momuments like the stairs where people are going to find them.

  7. Bob says:

    c) because he’s eligible

Littering is illegal. Also, why do you hate the environment, john?

  9. john says:

Here is what Mike Voilin needs to do. Mike should contact Zullo. He should tell Zullo to give him and only him a copy of Reed Haye’s Report. Mike should then contact some congressman especially his, arrange a meeting and give the Reed Haye’s Report directly to the Congressman. As far as we know the Reed Hayes Report has never been seen by anyone except for Zullo, Reed Hayes, and maybe a few others. It’s information that has never been seen. The information in the Sheriff’s Kits is old and obsolete information that his been blogged and hacked to death by Obots for the past 5 years. The Congressman need new undisclosed information not blogged and reblogged dribble.

  10. Jim says:

john: If birthers want to actually hand report a Sheriff’s Kit to an actual FBI agent…

Ummmmmm, john, didn’t you read Tom Arnold’s account?

“Inside the lobby, I was contacted by today’s “duty agent,” who happened to be with their counter-terrorism unit.”

    And

“I spent a good 15 or 20 minutes on the phone with [a FBI employee]. She was very courteous and receptive to what I had to tell her. She informed me that she was writing down everything I said.”

I guess the FBI knows garbage when they see it. 😀

  11. john says:

Andrew Vrba, PmG: Littering is illegal. Also, why do you hate the environment, john?

Yes, Littering is unlawful. That’s why you want to do it discretely and maybe at night if you can. You need several birthers to help and you need to keep doing it over and over again. Every morning, several Sheriff’s Kits are found on the Lincoln Memorial and the White House Lawn.

  12. Dr. Kenneth Noisewater says:

    john:

Yeah because littering will definitely get the message out!

It’s still littering even if no one sees you do it.

  14. Andrew Vrba, PmG says:

And the end of the day, all your plan will accomplish, is making extra work for the people who clean up our national parks and monuments. Theirs is a hard enough job as it is. Why would you want to make it even harder? What do you have against blue color folks, john?

Also, it’s very telling that you condone illegal activities, to try and further your agenda. Where do you get off calling Obama unlawful, when you’re actually talking about doing illegal acts? And by “doing” I mean “other people doing”, because you’re seemingly too craven to do anything yourself.

  15. faceman says:

John, you are openly advocating illegal activity on federal property. Maybe the FBI will be coming to talk to you. Do you have a sheriff kit ready to give them? I know where you can get one for the low, low price of $19.95.

  16. gorefan says:

John – have you given a Sheriff’s Kit to Congressman Yoho?

BTW – why am I getting the mobile version of the website on my desktop?

edit – and now it’s fixed.

  17. Rickey says:

That plan, if implemented, would certainly validate your earlier statement that “Birthers are not very smart.”

Something for your to ponder: National parks and monuments have crews which police the grounds after closing time and pick up any litter left behind.

  18. I remember my tour of Mammoth Cave. The Ranger said that prior to a particular date, marks on the walls were considered historical artifacts. After that date they were a federal crime.

Andrew Vrba, PmG: And the end of the day, all your plan will accomplish, is making extra work for the people who clean up our national parks and monuments. Theirs is a hard enough job as it is.

  19. Andrew Vrba, PmG says:

So lets recap about john here:
He supports unconstitutional acts, such as torture.
He supports illegal activities, whenever it serves his purpose.
He has no respect for our nations parks or monuments.
Yet Obama is supposed to be the “UnAmerican” one?

Ain’t it ironic that so many of these so-called “patriots” have no respect for the rule of law in this country, or the Constitution that they claim to be all about respecting and defending?

He also supports a “dead zone,” around our borders in which anyone found crossing is shot on sight. Man, woman, or child does not matter to John.

  21. Curious George says:

    John,

Here’s an idea. Take some of your “Sheriff’s Skits” to your local dentist and doctor offices. They’re always looking for entertaining reading for their patients. It would be an interesting break from the “Highlights” hidden object puzzles.

i’ve pointed this out to many an online `patriot’.

normally they simply retort with the inevitable homosexual sex reference because they forgot they weren’t in their normal safe echo chamber where all agree with them and they all call each other `brother’ and `fellow patriot’.

As I recall, at one point he was recommending that birthers do some kind of mischief at Arlington National Cemetery

john is getting a bit smarter.

It takes some folks longer than others, but it’s refreshing to see.

  28. Pete says:

Fortunately the FBI (and most, though not all Congersmen) are smart enough to identify BS when they see it.

Somehow I don’t think prefacing a job fair meeting with “Obama’s got a forged birth certificate and a fake SSN” is going to lead to a recruitment offer.

  29. Arthur B. says:

john: The information in the Sheriff’s Kits is old and obsolete information that his been blogged and hacked to death by Obots for the past 5 years. The Congressman need new undisclosed information not blogged and reblogged dribble.

Let me make sure I understand this, john. You seem to be saying that the Reed Hayes report contains previously undisclosed convincing evidence that is so powerful that it would be successful in persuading people with power (and maybe the public at large) that the birthers are right and the President is ineligible. All Zullo has to do is release it and the tide will turn.

That’s so brilliant! Why do you think it’s never occurred to Zullo?

  30. Woodrowfan says:

Security at the FBI, CIA, NSA, etc are trained to deal with the wackos that call them all the time. They’re trained to humor the harmless while keeping an eye out for those who might be dangerous to themselves or others….

  31. Curious George says:

    John,
“As far as we know the Reed Hayes Report has never been seen by anyone except for Zullo, Reed Hayes, and maybe a few others.”

Now how would you know this Johnny Boy? I find it especially interesting that you don’t include Sheriff Arpaio in your list of people who have seen the Reed Hayes Report. That in itself tells me that 1.) Arpaio is not involved in this investimagination and 2.) the Reed Hayes Report isn’t worth the paper it’s written on. Nice try Johnny Boy.

  32. Notorial Dissent says:

The Reed Hayes Report is a mediocre work of fiction, only ever seen by Mike Zullo, and not allowed anywhere near the light of day since. There’s a reason for that John. It’s real simple.

  33. Crustacean says:

    Woodrowfan:
Security at the FBI,CIA,NSA,etc are trained to deal with the wackos that call them all the time. They’re trained to humor the harmless while keeping an eye out for those who might be dangerous to themselves or others….

When Tom Arnold’s FBI pal told him she was writing down everything he said, that was a clue (I can’t be the only one who laughed hard upon reading that bit). Unfortunately, as a birther, he’s so gullible and self-righteous that clues don’t stand a chance.

  34. James M says:

Littering in a National Park can bring fines over $1000.00 and six months or more in federal prison. And if you think this is some kind of symbolic thing that isn’t enforced, I urge you not to try it.

I once got a $1600 fine for having a dog, on a leash, in the parking lot of a National Park. I had to appear at the Federal Courthouse, and ended up “only” having to pay $185 after pleading no contest.

The park ranger who cited me had an attitude that was generally the air of disbelief, as if he had never seen anyone break the law before. Law enforcement really does require a certain mindset that is foreign to me.

Obviously I paid the fine — they were quite serious about the threat of jail…

I wouldn’t wish this kind of experience even on a birther, and that’s saying a lot.

  35. alg says:

    Notorial Dissent:
The Reed Hayes Report is a mediocre work of fiction, only ever seen by Mike Zullo, and not allowed anywhere near the light of day since. There’s a reason for that John. It’s real simple.

The Reed Hayes “Report” is an expert witness rope-a-dope intended to motivate the customer to buy more “expertise.” It’s an initial “consultation” that says just enough to attempt to motivate Zullo to buy more services, but not enough to be used in some official manner. It probably includes several prominent caveats and disclaimers along with a price tag for what Zullo would have to pay in order to get the full monty “analysis.” This would explain why it will never see the light of day.

In other words, it’s an attempt to grift the grift.

  36. Rickey says:

John is touting the Reed Hayes report because he knows that he has nothing else left. In January Obama will begin his seventh year as President, and the birthers are no closer to getting him out of office than they were on January 20, 2009.

  37. Dave B. says:

People whose advice is so abysmally awful that nobody ever acts on it are denied the benefit of observing how truly toxic it is. Either that, or John’s even more eat up with the dumbass than I’d thought.

  39. RanTalbott says:

Rickey: In January Obama will begin his seventh year as President, and the birthers are no closer to getting him out of office than they were on January 20, 2009.

They’re actually further away: back then there were still some claims that hadn’t been definitively debunked yet. Now, as john points out, the only things that haven’t been completely disproven are the ones that haven’t been revealed (although, technically, Zullo fairy tale of The Desperate Stamp-Seeking Forger has only been shown to be “unproven” and “terminally stupid”).

And, having repeatedly cried “Wolf! Wolf!” and thrown open the door to reveal shivering chihuahua, they’ve so thoroughly discredited themselves that, even if they found something real, no one but their fellow birfoons would believe it.

  40. Color Me Skeptical says:

Ha ha birthers! Hey Doc? are you getting all your stories from the Gerbil Report?

  41. My story ideas primarily come from:

    1) Birther web sites, mostly Gerbil Report, Orly Taitz
    2) Emails from sources
    3) Comments left here
    4) Google Alerts

Color Me Skeptical: Ha ha birthers! Hey Doc? are you getting all your stories from the Gerbil Report?

  42. RanTalbott says:

wrecking ball: more birther v gov comedy

But not all of it, alas: the story says

My comments, questions, and concerns were mailed to all 3 of his offices, and were read in their entirety to Mr. Christianson in the videotaped meeting, and they appear below.

but Gerbil Report™ didn’t provide their usual link to a youtube video.

Could be a real motherlode of comedy gold, watching a group of aging radicals occupying the office of The Man, reading out their list of non-negotiable demands, and trying to guess which ones did the same thing when they were young college hippies 😉

  43. SusanSullivan says:

Are we sure that “john”is not a performance artist? His scenario of birthers sneaking around at night, littering the Lincoln Memorial with Shurf’sKits and hurling themover the White House fence, reminds me of nothing so much as a Monty Python skit.

  44. The Magic M says:

SusanSullivan: littering the Lincoln Memorial with Shurf’sKits and hurling themover the White House fence

It’s certainly one of the most dumbest (sic!) ways to distribute birfer info. But then again

    (a) birthers are among the dumbest people in the world, and

    (b) it doesn’t require spending much of your actual time, compared to “standing in the mall for 12 hours handing out flyers to people”. You know, the stuff that real activists do when they want to get a message out.

Much of the right-wing hatred of left-wing movements such as Occupy stems from the fact that they are jealous how liberals get people to the streets whereas conservatives tend to keep sitting on their butts waiting for others to do the work / start the revolution / stand in the front lines (“let’s you and him fight”).
While some of them try to excuse that with “liberals are unemployed moochers with too much time on their hands while we have to work”, that excuse usually comes from retired people who have all the time in the world.
And every time they see rallys like Ferguson or even the latest iPhone release craze, they are reminded how utterly abysmal their own turnouts (low three-digits at OAS) are in comparison.

  45. Rickey says:

    SusanSullivan:

John is more like our court jester. He has been entertaining us for years.
