I checked Mark Kessler’s facebook page, to read the fallout over what happened in his Fox Noise interview. I can’t tell if the man has just flipped his lid, or someone has taken over his page, and started posting a bunch of joke posts.

Oh, and on a note relating to the title of this thread. I watched the Grumpy Cat Christmas Movie…really wasn’t worth the time or energy it took to stay awake through it.

    I checked Mark Kessler’s facebook page,…

    loved this comment:

“What I am wondering, Mark, is….. are you in that same situation? Have they “trapped” you, or somehow “brainwashed” you? I can guarantee that there are people who would happily help you, if that were the case. There has to be a voice of reason at some point.”

  3. Andrew Vrba, PmG says:

Voice of reason, he says? The wheels fell off of that trolley a LONG time ago.

  4. Andrew Vrba, PmG says:

Gerbil Report ran an article that has nothing to do with Obama, but attached a picture of him anyway. Really slow “news” day I suppose.

At the Gerbil Report everything has something to do with Obama…..doncha know?

Reminds me of how Lucas “I’m not even fooling myself anymore” Smith adds the same tags to all of his blog posts, regardless of whether they’re about Obama or not.

Oh my. The perfect story to post at GR. http://www.newyorker.com/humor/borowitz-report/fox-obama-seeks-advice-establishing-monarchy

Pretty sure that the gerbils don’t understand sarcasm so this could be a BIG STORY over there.

  8. Keith says:

Huh. Free WiFi in Queenstown New Zealand.

    Thanks, Obama!!!

  9. The Magic M says:

Seems “attourney” KKKlayman is still unable to properly serve a defendant:

Plaintiff’s attempt to effectuate service through email and through an attorney not assigned to this case created confusion

(Also Gerbil Report is back to prefixing every other article with “Shock”/”Breaking”/”Bombshell”.)

  10. Andrew Vrba, PmG says:

This of course means the lawsuit won’t go anywhere(big surprise!), and the birthers will be crying “Lawless President!”(big surprise).

  11. The Magic M says:

Did he take refresher courses at OrlyLaw? He, of all lawyers, should have enough experience with the government to know how to properly serve them. Looks like another publicity stunt where he provokes a procedural loss to claim his merits would’ve prevailed.

  12. Andrew Vrba, PmG says:

There’s a poster named Juan, who likes to poke the Gerbil cages with a stick, by popping by every week at GR to say “Another week, and Obama is still the President and still black!”, the reactions he gets never fail to be amusing. Its like watching a Special Olympics version of The Legion of Doom being told that there is no more cake!

  13. Axis Of Evil says:

What’s the story with that Falcon dimwit at GR? Now he’s posting pics and private info of another commenter. The fact that the info is allowed to stay up shows that he must be the main buttboy for whoever is in charge.

    At one point he told some one: “You have no idea who I am”;

I replied that he sounded so butthurt, that he is most probably John Boehner. Suffice to say, the comment did not pass moderation.

RC recorded a great show last night. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/36617172/Florida%20NLA%20Call%2012-10-2014.mp3 It had at least one of the regulars on. That one guy sounded rather harsh. No, that’s not the word. Maybe flinty or harsh or rigid or strict or tough or stern.

    Anyone got any skypie codes?

Dr. Kenneth Noisewater: Anyone got any skypie codes?

I just wanted to smack her every time she said that.

  20. roadburner says:

anyone see what happened concerning the 200 sheriffs that were supposed to descend on washington?

gerbil report isn’t making a headline out of it, so it would appear it’s another classic birfoon fail after being hyped so much

schadenfreude is such a wonderful word!

  21. The Magic M says:

roadburner: the 200 sheriffs that were supposed to descend on washington

That’s probably two orders of magnitude too high.

  22. RanTalbott says:

roadburner: anyone see what happened concerning the 200 sheriffs that were supposed to descend on washington?

Well, the rule is that the actual turnout for such birfer events can be no more than 1/1000 of the projections, and none of the sheriffs would volunteer to be cut into fifths for the cause, so they had to cancel.

(Okay, seriously: I I believe they had a press conference at the National Press Club. GR™ had a short video clip last week by some sheriff saying something in front of the NPC backdrop. But apparently they forgot to pack their “pre-filled warrants”, because there were no news reports of lawdogs barking at the WH gates)

  23. wrecking ball says:

    roadburner:
anyone see what happened concerning the 200 sheriffs that were supposed to descend on washington?

“Two dozen sheriffs from several states went to Washington this week… ”

    woohoo! a 12% success!

I do so love it when birthers, and other loons, are disappointed by the failure that they set themselves up for.

  25. Crustacean says:

In a Gerbil Report comment yesterday, the mental mountain a man known as Ted_Underhill explained that he no longer reads National Review Online because of their shabby treatment of John Derbyshire. In case you missed it, Derbyshire fell out of favor with NRO after writing a column sharing advice he would give his children about black people. Among the Dicta Derby:

10f) Do not settle in a district or municipality run by black politicians.

10g) Before voting for a black politician, scrutinize his/her character much more carefully than you would a white.

Bye to everyone here. The birther issue is dead. Obama is not a failed President, but not as effective as he should have been. The US stay as hypocritical as they have always been. Nothing new under the sun ….

That’s how Orly gets pwned every time.

Fortunately for the grifters, there is no bottom of the barrel. The same people who have been croaking “everyone in Congress is a traitor” are happily sending letters and making phone calls to said “traitors” to get them to change their minds.

The paid email campaign is also an old grift (didn’t the P&E come up with it first?).

I had a similar call last week. He said something was wrong with my Windows computer. I asked him how he knew that I had a Windows computer, and he gave me a mumbo-jumbo response. Then I asked him what brand of computer I have and what my IP address is. [Click]

    This struck me as amusing:

Nebraska, Oklahoma File Federal Suit Against Colorado Over Marijuana Legalization

The states of Nebraska and Oklahoma filed a federal lawsuit in the U.S. Supreme Court Thursday, claiming that Colorado’s legalization of recreational marijuana is unconstitutional under federal law.

“Federal law undisputedly prohibits the production and sale of marijuana,” Nebraska Attorney General Jon Bruning said Thursday in a statement. “Colorado has undermined the United States Constitution, and I hope the U.S. Supreme Court will uphold our constitutional principles.”

Bruning, along with Oklahoma Attorney General Scott Pruitt, argue that under the U.S. Constitution’s Supremacy Clause, Colorado’s legalization of recreational marijuana is unconstitutional because marijuana remains illegal under federal law. The clause states that in general, federal law takes precedence over state law.

Certainly sounds like Nebraska and Oklahoma are SUPPORTING the Supremacy Clause of the U.S. Constitution, doesn’t it?

    But then there is this…

Oklahoma House approves national health care law nullification bill, draws criticism

House Bill 1021, which also would have the Legislature declare the Affordable Care Act as not being authorized by the U.S. Constitution, easily passed the Republican-controlled House of Representatives mostly along party lines 72-20. It now goes to the Senate….

Ritze, a physician, said his measure is the result of voters in November 2010 passing State Question 756, which was intended to prevent many of the federal health care reforms from affecting Oklahoma, such as making a person or an employer participate in a health care system or buying private health insurance.

    and this…

Nebraska Moves to Nullify Unconstitutional Obama Gun Laws

[eMail from “Gun Owners of America” found on Free Republic]

Nebraska has now joined states like Florida, Arizona, Idaho, Missouri, Kansas, and Alaska in standing up for the Second Amendment — and telling Barack Obama what he can do with his unconstitutional gun bans and gun registration schemes.

L.B. 1030 would prohibit any Nebraska state or local official from “restrict[ing] the carrying, possession, transfer, purchase, sale, or ownership of or otherwise regulat[ing] any firearm, ammunition, or component of any firearm or ammunition to a greater extent than state law.”

  43. Keith says:

By the way, I do notice that the Oklahoma and Nebraska ‘nullification’ attempts are not really ‘nullification’ – they cannot prevent Federal officials from enforcing Federal law within their states just as Colorado cannot prevent the DEA from enforcing Federal drug laws in Colorado. But it sounds nice when the propagandists put all the right buzzwords into their screed in order to attract the bees to the honey..
