Comment at Birther Report

image.pngI left this comment at Birther Report after someone suggested I shut down this blog since I didn’t think that Arpaio and Zullo would ever hold another press conference:

It was obvious after Arpaio and Zullo’s initial display of investigative prowess at the first news conference that nothing of any substance would ever come out of that bunch, which was basically a”Sheriff Joe” label pasted over “Jerome Corsi” material. Whether or not A/Z ever held another press conference was always inconsequential. Now I am not saying that there will never be a big scandal about Barack Obama, only that if there is, Arpaio and Zullo are the last ones with the qualifications and resources to find it or prosecute it.

My goal is not to stop the birthers. They stop themselves by a lack of rigor in their thinking, and by the essential untruth of their narrative. Birther hopes died in 2008, not when the “March reveal” fizzled. My blogging is out of interest in digging out the truth in stories, what I say in the site’s tag line, “fishing for gold coins in a bucket of mud.” Engaging birthers is a bit like putting together a big jigsaw puzzle. That said, I have promised to stop updating my blog at noon on January 20, 2017. I trust that you’ll have gone home by then too.

But what if Ted Cruz is elected?

Surely the birthers will pursue eligibility questions of Mr. Cruz, who was born in Canada to a Cuban citizen father, with the same vigor that they used to pursue President Obama.

HA HA HA HA HA!!!!!!! I’m sorry. I don’t know what came over me…

Let’s just assume Doc has purchased the appropriate domain names and wait for the comedy…

As the youngsters say “You rock Doc”.” I just want to say that you have provided a great platform for the good of Obots everywhere. I’m looking forward to the next two years of wit, wisdom, and the golden nuggets of truth that you and your band of merry followers have provided. Happy 2015 to all!!!

Actually when I trolled on Ann (KKK) Coulter’s forum for, like, 48 hours, I was astonished to see the sheer amount & nastiness of the anti-Cruz posters. They hate him almost as much as they hate Obama. And that’s supposed to be from their foot soldiers. IMHO Cruz is toast.

I’m afraid your Oligarchy is setting us up, well, I mean you, for another Bush (Jeb)-Clinton (Hillary) rematch. Oh joy.

I have to agree with Smirk4Food, I think, or at least it seems to me, at least at the moment, that there is a rising sentiment in the birfer crowd against Cruz, and if he keeps opening his mouth with out some strong handed keeper around, he won’t have a chance with the mainstream either as he is distancing himself by leagues from the groups that might otherwise vote for him. He may still end up as a GOP Hail Mary, but I don’t see him carrying the party, let alone winning.

Truth be told, the more he opens his mouth, the less, if possible, I like him just for what he says.
