My status site (status.obamaconspiracy.org) got hacked. It’s not as bad as having your house broken into, but you just don’t feel safe any more. Thanks to a commenter here, I learned about the problem and was able to fix it. That was last week.
Today the status site suffered a brute force login attack from Thailand. New security plug-ins detected and blocked access from that IP address. The brute-force attempt was doomed to fail for two reasons: the default WordPress administrator account being used doesn’t exist on that site, and the password to the real administrator account is a very long random thing.
Thailand is practically Indonesia, for all birther intents and purposes. Looks like the Soetoros have started the big scrub. 😉

Didn’t Confucius say “He who seeks to obtain status through trickery will inevitably be humbled”?
I can’t get a server response from Talkingpointsmemo at the moment either. I suspect burnt birthers paid somebody to launch these attacks.
I base these baseless allegations on my assertions that:
1. Birthers are in a deep dark valley of discontent right now,
2. The level of expertise they’ve displayed in any field has been woefully inadequate, so they wouldn’t have the competence required to do this themselves, and
3. They’ve got more money than sense. Even the broke ones.
These are my aspersions, and I contend I have more evidence for this than Birthers do for… well, just about anything they’ve gotten into a twist about.
