Andy Martin Boycotts Hawai’i!

andy_martin_148x292

Internet Powerhouse Andy Martin

I thought I had seen it all with the citizen grand juries, but just when I thought nuttiness had reached it’s theoretical maximum, in charges Andy Martin announcing his boycott of the entire State of Hawaii, through a new web site: BoycottHawaii.com. Rather than others distorting the nature of Obama’s birth certificate, it is Martin himself who makes the ridiculous statement that the COLB is a copy of some “other form  of public record” and not a copy of a birth certificate.

I somehow do not think that Andy Martin’s delusions will have any effect on Hawaii’s economy.

The following (taken from the site’s home page) is full of false statements. One of the page header links is to “New Books” which points to Andy Martin’s very much NOT new book. Obama, the Man Behind the Mask, a book which describes itself as a “Bestseller” on the cover, but which readers here know was one of the worst selling of the anti-Obama books.

The International Boycott of Hawai’i:

Barack Obama is serving as the forty-fourth President of the United States.

Hawai’i state officials and school officials control access to the original copies of vital historic records about Obama, including access to his original, typewritten 1961 birth certificate and Punahou School records.

Separately, Obama is also concealing his college and law school records from Occidental College, Columbia University and Harvard Law School.

Regrettably, Hawai’i officials have acted more like stooges of a banana republic than custodians of vital records and historical documents involving the birthplace of a president. A Hawai’i court slammed the door shut on a lawsuit seeking legitimate access to these original materials. The Hawai’i Department of Health confirmed an original birth certificate exists, and then refused to disclose the document, in a blatant act of pre-election legerdemain.

Hawai’i officials have unlawfully relied on privacy laws to conceal and control access to Obama’s records. Privacy laws were intended to protect the privacy of ordinary citizens. These laws were never intended to restrict access to original historical records of an American president.

Obama himself has created more controversy by releasing a “copy” of his birth certificate that is not a “copy” at all, but merely a laser-printed extract from some other form of public record. Mainstream media have blatantly disseminated disinformation about the nature of the “original” 1961 document and falsely claimed that the laser copy is a “copy” of the 1961 typewritten instrument.

Hawaii government officials and school officials should respect American history, and respect the right of every American to the complete truth about their President.

They have failed to do so. In response to Hawai’i’s intransigence, we propose that every American boycott Hawai’i tourism, Hawai’i products and Hawai’i businesses unless and until Hawai’ians make these historic records available.

Economic pressure may alert Hawai’ians to the historic injustice that they are inflicting on the nation of which they are a part.

Over fifty years after becoming one of our fifty states, Hawai’i officials act as though they have no responsibility to citizens of the other forty-nine states and can conceal the original documentation of the first American president born in Hawai’i. We think Hawai’ians are wrong.

Please join us in boycotting Hawai’i tourism, Hawai’i products and Hawai’ian businesses until Obama’s historical records and files are made available.

Once Hawai’ians are hit in the pocketbook, maybe then they will understand why people feel strongly about the right of every American to know the truth and have unrestricted access to the original documents about the origins of their 44th president.

The time has come to quarantine the Hawai’i economy. Send the State of Hawai’i a strong message: Stop stonewalling; release Obama’s records. Now.

Respectfully,

Andy Martin
Executive Director

    Mr Martin claims:

“Obama himself has created more controversy by releasing a “copy” of his birth certificate that is not a “copy” at all, but merely a laser-printed extract from some other form of public record. Mainstream media have blatantly disseminated disinformation about the nature of the “original” 1961 document and falsely claimed that the laser copy is a “copy” of the 1961 typewritten instrument.”

H&R: While the ‘other form of public record’ is most likely the original birth certificate, nothing else in this paragraph strikes me as patently untrue.

So that equals about half a planeful of cheap, obnoxious Suntrippers in their pastel jogging suits.

I bet the Hawaiians are crying into their poi over that one.

    Doc,
This article is very odd. Like a botched version of yours. It’s as if it went through a translator a couple of times.

My guess is that this is related to search engine ranking manipulation, probably for the web sites hyperlinked in the articles. The other articles on that “blog” also seem to be automated mangling of text.

Speaking of Andy, how did his big conference last weekend go? He’s being rather tight-lipped about it.

Given that it was held in a hotel room, there couldn’t have been very many people there.

Martin said: ““But there is a world of difference between entertaining and leading. Obama has shown us he can entertain. He has not shown us he can lead. Mainstream media are now using the euphemism permanent campaign’ to reflect Obama’s lack of leadership. He campaigns’ but he can’t lead.’”

Martin appears to be unaware of what “permanent campaign” means.

It did spawn new vocabulary. I have started a thread at PJ’s to track the “Dwellers Wonderful Juries”.

Here’s an article from the Philly Bulletin:

    http://thebulletin.us/articles/2009/04/06/top_stories/bullet_points/doc49d9d02057af3226045412.txt

Reads more like a press release, as there are no facts of note.

I left a comment, including the question of exactly how many folks showed up at room 1126 for the conference.

Being that Martin’s Boycott of Hawaii somehow includes his organizing a trip for people to actually go to Hawaii, I believe this blog entry deserves to be updated.

“Second, if you would like to personally join our investigative team in Honolulu, please let us know as soon as possible. We need to know who is coming so we can plan. (You must make your own arrangements to get there and stay there.) Assuming we get the backing to go forward, you would have to show up on or after May 9th and leave on the 14th of May (or later if you stay on).”

Boycotts work. Plenty of vacationers have alternate spots.

This “president” is an imposter, no media gloss can ever change this truth !

People have to treat it just like any other travesty. The bad effects already equal 9-11, especially taking into account the extra fetuses massacred.

If we act like sheep, and if we avoid conversing about this real life issue, we are as American as walrus stew.

I say that your impostor claim is not the truth. Look around this web site for the reason why.
