The Genesis of Obama Conspiracy Theories

This is a subject I want to explore in some depth. The Obama FightTheSmears web site published a diagram worthy of the best conspiracy theorist about just where the stories come from, tracking some back to the 2004 campaign against John Kerry.

Others blame Andy Martin for a a chain email starting the story that Barack Obama was a Muslim. Martin was labeled by the New York Times as “The Man Behind the Whispers About Obama.”

The smears persist thanks to several interest groups including pro-Israel, anti-Muslim, white racist, anti-abortion, PUMA (pro-Hillary), anti-federalism, pro-gun and right-wingers in general. How much cooperation there is; beyond cutting and pasting each others’ material, I don’t know.

Oh, please, please, please don’t neglect to look at the PUMAs (pumapac especially) and the Just Say No Deal coalition in your research. They are such a fun bunch!

  2. What is a PUMA? I see this all the time, and nobody explains it.

  3. laughinghysterically says:

Oh, those wacky and wild PUMAs. ROAR (yes, they actually say this ALL the time, and they “ROAR” at one another in person when they meet up– it frightening but really funny)

They are such a band of merry moronic maniacs. “PUMA” is a term generally used by a bunch of different groups, but, quick summary of PUMA is:

Back in June a group calling itself “Party Unity My As#” (who styled themselves ticked off Hillary supporters) took the position that Obama stole the primary election. Their rally cry was, and still is, “Nobama”.

They quickly joined up with the “Just Say No Deal” coalition and some of them got their mugs on FOX news all too often over the summer. They quickly revealed themselves to be little more than an Obama hate group. They’ve continued going strong now since June and they come complete with all the bat-sh*t-crazy anti-Obama conspiracy theories, the shady fundraising website “leaders” and all manner of other tin-foil-hat wearing anti-Obama lunacy. They are also some of the strongest supporters/purveyors of ALL the various Obama conspiracies and they are more cult-like in control of information/members etc, than any of these other groups.

google each of the following for maximum PUMA fun and lunacy:

“PUMApac” (I’d vote this site the PUMA mothership)

    “Riverdaughter’s Confluence”

“Texas Darling” (she’s real into the citizenship thing)

    “No Quarter”

    “FreeUsNow”

    “JustSayNoDeal”

  4. bogus info says:

“Texas Darling” is from my homestate I’m ashamed to say IF this group is indeed from Texas.

  5. laughinghysterically says:

Oh, Texas is big PUMA country. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news!
    🙁
